JAKARTA - Bandara HAS Hanandjoedin Tanjung Pandan mulai kemarin (10/9) telah melayani penerbangan internasional. Penerbangan internasional tersebut merupakan charter internasional Sriwijaya Air dari Kuala Lumpur menuju Tanjung Pandan (Bangka Belitung) pergi-pulang. Hal ini baru pertama kali di bandara tersebut.
Dirjen Perhubungan Udara Kementerian Perhubungan Agus Santoso memberi apresiasi positif. Dia berharap agar penerbangan charter tersebut akan menarik penerbangan regular.
"Ini suatu hal yang positif dan menjadi bukti bahwa sektor penerbangan bisa menjadi salah satu motor penggerak masuknya investasi ke suatu daerah. Dan tentu saja hal ini akan bisa meningkatkan perekonomian daerah tersebut khususnya dan perekonomian nasional umumnya," ujar Agus Santoso.
Menurut Agus, dengan ditingkatkannya suatu bandara yang potensial dari domestik ke internasional, harapannya adalah akan membuka banyak penerbangan langsung dari Luar negeri ke Indonesia. Sisi positif penerbangan langsung tersebut di antaranya adalah memudahkan investor luar negeri yang ingin masuk dan berinvestasi di Indonesia, dan memacu penerbangan reguler.
Semula Agus sempat mengancam akan mengembalikan status bandara tersebut ke domestik kembali, pasalnya sudah 9 bulan dijadikan bandara Internasional namun tidak ada internasional regular flight satupun yang menerbanginya.
Untuk menjaga trend positif tersebut, Agus mengingatkan kepada semua stakeholder penerbangan nasional selain info pariwisata dan bistinis didaerah Belitung, juga pengelola bandara, maskapai penerbangan, pengelola navigasi penerbangan dan ground handling untuk terus menjaga dan meningkatkan kualitasnya.
"Sisi keselamatan, keamanan dan pelayanan penerbangan harus dijaga dan ditingkatkan sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman," kata Agus menyikapi hal tersebut. Menurutnya semua personil harus bekerja berdasarkan SOP dan aturan yang sudah ditetapkan. "Kalau sektor transportasi penerbangan kuat, akan bisa menjadi pendorong bagi berkembangnya perekonomian nasional," lanjut Agus.
Menurut sumber yang dihimpun Jawa Pos (Induk Jambi Ekspres), pesawat tersebut berangkat dari Terminal 2 Bandara Internasional Kuala Lumpur pukul 7.35 waktu setempat. Sampai di Bandara Internasional HAS Hanandjoedin-Tanjung Pandan pukul 9.50 WIB. Selanjutnya, pesawat yang sama berangkat dari Bandara HAS Hanandjoedin hari ini pukul 7.30 WIB dan sampai ke Kuala Lumpur sekitar pukul 10.30 waktu setempat.
"Satu pesawat dari maskapai nasional Indonesia tersebut dicharter oleh Dewan Perniagaan Malaysia Global (MGCC)," kata Kepala Bagian Kerjasama dan Humas Dirjen Perhubungan Udara Agoes Soebagio. Agus menambahkan jika dewan perniagaan tersebut akan membawa kurang lebih 200 investor yang tergabung dalam Malindo Business and Cultural Centre (MBCC) untuk bertemu dengan Pemerintah Daerah Belitung Timur. "Mereka membicarakan investasi di daerah tersebut," katanya.
