JAKARTA - Hasil survei Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) menempatkan Partai Golongan Karya hanya di posisi ketiga dalam urutan elektabilitas. Namun, partai berlambang beringin itu tak terlalu risau. Mereka menilai survei CSIS bersifat fluktuatif karena memiliki margin of error yang tinggi.
Wakil Ketua Dewan Pakar Partai Golkar Mahyudin mengungkapkan, penurunan elektabilitas Partai Golkar dari 14,1 persen pada 2016 menjadi 10,9 persen tidak terlalu signifikan. ”Margin angkanya tidak terlalu jelek, masih di atas 10 persen, masih di dua digit dari pemilu lalu,” kata Mahyudin di Rumah Sakit Siloam, Jakarta, kemarin (13/9).
Dia justru menilai margin of error survei CSIS yang melibatkan 1.000 responden dari 34 provinsi masih besar. Dengan margin of error mencapai 3 persen, dia yakin elektabilitas Partai Golkar bisa melebihi data CSIS. ”Dari survei CSIS, Golkar masih bisa 16 persen, jadi tidak terlalu mengkhawatirkan, masih dalam toleransi,” ucap Mahyudin.
Untuk bisa menyalip Partai Gerindra, Mahyudin memiliki keyakinan bahwa Partai Golkar masih mampu. Meski begitu, Mahyudin juga menilai bahwa kasus e-KTP yang menyeret Ketua Umum Partai Golkar Setya Novanto sedikit banyak memengaruhi kinerja partai. ”Ya, harus bekerja keras untuk memperbaiki elektabilitas Pemilu 2019,” kata wakil ketua MPR itu.
Di tempat terpisah, Koordinator Generasi Muda Partai Golkar (GMPG) Ahmad Doli Kurnia menilai hasil survei CSIS itu mempertegas kekhawatirannya. Dia yakin kasus hukum yang menimpa Setnov sangat berpengaruh terhadap elektabilitas Partai Golkar. ”Informasi seperti itu kan bukan yang pertama. Sejak awal GMPG sudah sampaikan desakan Setya Novanto untuk mundur, karena citra Golkar terus negatif dan elektabilitasnya menurun,” katanya.
Menurut Doli, survei yang didapat CSIS juga memperkuat argumennya selama ini. Doli selalu menyebut status tersangka Setnov lambat laun akan berpengaruh pada Partai Golkar apabila tidak segera dibenahi. ”Penjelasan survei CSIS juga menyebut bahwa salah satu penyebab turunnya elektabilitas Golkar adalah Setnov tersangkut kasus korupsi,” ujarnya.
Doli menyatakan, hasil survei CSIS itu hendaknya menjadi pelajaran. Menurut dia, jangan sampai era saat ini dikenang sejarah sebagai kelompok yang menghancurkan Partai Golkar. ”Dengan realitas seperti ini, seharusnya pimpinan Golkar jangan ngotot mempertahankan kepemimpinannya,” tandasnya.
