MERANGIN - Kawanan perampok bersenpi yang beberapa waktu lalu menyatroni rumah Toke Sawit di Desa Mampun, Kecamatan Pemenang dan juga yang menyandra dan membawa kabur mobil pembawa Pasir, hingga kini belum tertangkap.
Pihak kepolisian terus melakukan upaya penangkapan. Bahkan, dilakukan patroli di perbatasan.
Kapolres Merangin, AKBP Aman Guntoro memalui Paur Humas, IPDA Sitorus, saat dikonfirmasi mengaku jika pihaknya terus melakukan upaya pemburuan terhadap pelaku.
"Yang dibuang di Mentawak itu yang menyelidiki Bungo, Karena TKP-nya di sana. Sedangkan perampokan rumah toke sawit, kita masih melakukan pemburuan terhadap kawanan perampok ini," ujar IPDA Sitorus.
Menurutnya, kawanan perampok yang menyatroni rumah toke sawit yang berada di wilayah Pemenang tersebut diduga kuat ada pelakunya yang warga Merangin.
"Yang jelas kita lakukan penyelidikan terlebih dahulu, mulai dari memanggil beberapa saksi dan mencari barang bukti lainnya untuk proses penyelidikan," ungkapnya.
Sitorus juga mengatakan, ada sejumlah kelompok pencuri dicurigai di wilayah Merangin dan sekitarnya menggunakan cara yang sama. Pihaknya juga sudah mengidentifikasi dan memetakan kelompok pencurian tersebut.
"Yang jelas kita sudah punya kelompok-kelompok apabila kejadian kita sudah mengerti ini kelompok mana," jelasnya.
Menurut Sitorus, pihaknya sudah mengantongi jenis senjata digunakan pelaku. Namun mengenai pelaku perampok tersebut, namun mengenai perampok lari ke wukayah mana masih diselidiki.
"Sampai sekarang kita belum tahu lari ke mana, yang jelas kita terus patroli malam dan juga berkoordinasi dengan pihak kepolisian daerah lain," sebutnya.
Diketahui Kawanan rampok ini menyatroni rumah tauke kelapa sawit, N Samosir (54), Sabtu (9/9). Atas musibah menimpanya uang ratusan juta rupiah berhasil dibawa perampok.
