MUARABULIAN – Hingga awal tahun 2019 ini, Pelaksana tugas (PLT) kepala sekolah di kabupaten Batanghari tak kunjung dilantik. Hal ini menyebabkan beberapa pekerjaan rumah di sekolah jadi terhambat.
Tercatat dari data dinas pendidikan dan kebudayaan kabupaten Batanghari bahwa ada sebanyak 60 PLT kepsek SD dan SMP yang hingga saat ini belum defenitip. Jika dipersentasekan jumlah ini mencapai 30 persen kepsek di Batanghari dijabat oleh PLT, dari total 204 SD dan 36 SMP.
Soal kepala sekolah yang masih dijabat PLT ini sangat mendesak agari dilaksanakannya pelantikan. Pasalnya, banyak pekerjaan rumah sekolah, seperti penanda tanganan STTB siswa yang tidak bisa diteken oleh PLT. Terlebih lagi, PLT kepsek juga memegang SK Kepala dinas.
Sebelumnya Bupati Batanghari Ir Syahirsah pernah mengatakan kepada sejumlah media, Kepsek yang masih PLT bisa melaksanakan tugas asalkan ada PLT SK dari Bupati. Hal ini untuk mengatasi pelayanan dan tugas di sekolah agar bisa terselesaikan. Namun dari total 60 kepsek yang masih PLT 22 kepsek masih berstatus SK Kepala dinas. Artinya dari total tersebut baru 38 Plt kepsek yang baru di memegang SK Bupati.
Menanggapi hal tersebut Kepala dinas pendidikan dan kebudayaan kabupaten Batanghari Dra Jamilah melalui kabid Tenaga dan Ketenagaan Yaakin mengatakan, saat ini jumlah Plt kepsek di kabupaten berjumlah 60 sekolah, 38 telah di SK bupati, sedangkan 22 masih SK kepala dinas.
“ Saat ini SK 22 orang ini sedang dalam proses di usulkan kepada Bupati Batanghari agar mendapat SK Bupati, namun hal tersebut diteken atau belum dinas masih menunggu,” ujarnya Kamis (03/01/2019) di ruang kerjanya.
Ya’akin juga menegaskankan, meski status kepsek masih Plt, Hal ini tidak menjadi penyebab keterlambatan dalam tugas sebagai seorang pimpinan di sekolah. Ia juga berharap, sebagai pelaksana tugas di sekolah mampu meletakan peran agar apa yang diaharpakan untuk mengentaskan dunia pendidikan lebih baik kedepan.
Disinggung soal kapan dilantiknya Plt Kepsek ini, Ia belum bisa menjawab. “ No coment lah kalau soal pelantikan itu untuk saat ini,” cetusnya.
