MUARABULIAN – Koran Harian lokal Batanghari Ekspres kembali menggelar ajang turnamen bulutangkis terbuka bertajuk Batanghari Ekspres Cup II 2019. Ajang pencarian bakat ini akan segera digelar pada 15-23 Maret 2019 di lapangan Hall PB Roy.
General Manajer Harian Batanghari Ekspres Rd Jufri SE mengaku sangat mengapresiasi dan berupaya akan memfasilitasi turnamen seperti ini. Langkah ini, menurutnya sangat dibutuhkan bukan hanya sebagai wadah untuk anak-anak dan remaja dalam menunjukan prestasinya juga sebagai ajang untuk melakukan pencarian bakat atlet muda dan keberlansungan olahraga yang banyak diminati masyarakat di kabupaten Batanghari.
“Ajang-ajang seperti ini pastinya sangat kita support, terlebih agenda-agenda turnamen merupakan ajang yang sangat di tunggu untuk mengembangkan permainan batminton oleh masyarkat,” kata Jufri.
Ia mengatakan terselenggaranya turnamen ini merupakan hasil kerjasama dengan berbagai pihak, diantaranya Pemkab Batanghari, Polres Batanghari, kejaksaan Muara Bulian, Koni Batanghari, PT Dharmasraya dan PT BEI dan PT APL.
Dalam pelaksanaannya jelas Jufri, turnamen akan mempertandingkan berbagai kelompok PB. Sebagai bentuk reward pada turnament Batanghari Ekspres Cup 2019 akan memberiakn hadidah kepada pada peserta berupa Uang tunai, trophy dan hadiah lainnya.
