MUARABULIAN - Badan Keuangan Daerah (Bakeuda) kabupaten Batanghari akan melakukan optimalisasi sektor pajak restoran pada tahun 2019 ini.
Dimana nantinya Bakeuda akan bekerja sama dengan Bank Jambi. Tujuannya adalah untuk penerapan pajak daerah secara elektronik, dengan pemasangan Tapping Box pada restoran dan rumah makan yang potensial dalam kabupaten Batanghari.
Bupati Batanghari, Ir Syahirsah, pernah mengatakan pada tahun ini pemerintah kabupaten Batanghari berencana akan menerapkan Sistem Elektronik dalam penarikan retribusi Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD) di rumah makan dalam kabupaten Batanghari.
Hal ini guna meningkatkan PAD kabupaten Batanghari dari sektor retribusi pajak rumah makan tersebut.
Sementara itu Kepala Bakeuda kabupaten Batanghari, Muhammad Azan SH melalui Kabid Pendapatan Daerah Lainnya, M Fathan, mengatakan Pemkab Batanghari berencana akan bekerjasama dengan Bank Jambi untuk menerapkan pembayaran pajak daerah cara elektronik. Yang mana akan dilakukan pemasangan tapping box pada restoran yang potensial.
Hal tersebut diperkuat dengan Peraturan Bupati (Perbub) tentang pambayaran pajak secara online. Rencana ini sedang dalam proses pembahasan.
“ Agar capaian pajak restoran memenuhi target, maka pemerintah berupaya untuk menerapkan pembayaran pajak secara online. Semoga dengan cara itu, setoran pajak bisa over target,” harapnya.
Dikatakannya, tapping box ini untuk mendukung transaksi pembayaran pajak oleh wajib pajak (WP) yang berasal dari restoran dan rumah makan. Tapping Box akan dipasang di restoran dan rumah makan yang potensial. Fungsinya untuk mencatat atau menangkap semua transaksi yang kemudian tercatat oleh printer point of sales,” jelasnya.
Dikatakan Herman bahwa untuk target penerimaan pajak restoran tahun 2019 ini sebesar Rp1.500.000.000,- (Satu miliar lima ratus juta rupiah). Sampai dengan Maret 2019 terealisasi sebesar Rp182.578.005.
Angka ini secara nominal belum memenuhi target tahapan. Hal ini disebabkan penerimaan atas pajak restoran berasal dari realisasi atas kegiatan OPD, Dana Desa dan Dana Bos.
“ Karenanya, ke depan dengan pemasangan tapping box di restoran dan rumah makan yang potensial akan dapat mengoptimalkan pendapatan pajak daerah di bidang restoran,” katanya.(adv)
