MUARABULIAN - Saat ini, Dinas Perkebunan dan Peternakan kabupaten Batanghari, membentuk tim yang bertugas untuk memeriksa kesehatan hewan kurban yang dijual pedagang.
“ Tim ini juga akan memeriksa legalitas hewan kurban, baik itu sapi, kerbau dan kambing,” terang Kepala Disbunnak Batanghari melalui Kepala Bidang Peternakan dan Kesehatan Hewan, Yannofa, kepada wartawan, Kamis (1/8/2019).
Dikatakan Yannofa, pada tahun ini Disbunnak Batanghari akan menurunkan tim pemantauan pemotongan hewan kurban sebanyak 24 orang. Tim tersebut terdiri dari dokter hewan dan petugas kecamatan.
“ Tim ini dibagi di delapan kecamatan. Setiap kecamatan terdiri dari 3-4 orang petugas. Tim pemantauan pemotongan itu akan diturunkan H-2 lebaran Idul Adha nanti,” kata Yannofa.
Lanjut dikatakan Yannofa, sementara pada Senin (5/8/2019) tim ketersediaan hewan kurban akan diturunkan di setiap pasar maupun pedagang yang ada. “ Tim ini diturunkan untuk mengecek ketersediaan hewan kurban,” jelas Yannofa.
Dijelaskan Yannofa, biasanya legalitas hewan kurban yang masuk daftar pemeriksaan tim tersebut di antaranya surat keterangan asal hewan, surat keterangan kesehatan serta surat keterangan lalu lintasnya. Ketiga dokumen tersebut wajib dimiliki dan akan diperiksa oleh tim. Ketiga dokumen dimaksud dibutuhkan guna memastikan hewan kurban yang dijual layak dikonsumsi dan bukan dari hasil curian,” tutupnya.(*)
