MUARABULIAN - Perpustakaan Nasional Republik Indonesia (RI), melalui PT Indo Potency menyelenggarakan, stakeholder meeting bersama Dinas Perpustakaan dan Arsip Daerah (Perpusda) Kabupaten Batanghari. Selasa (20/8/2019) bertempat ruang pola kantor Bupati Batanghari.
Kegiatan itu diselenggarakan seperti yang tertuang dalam amanat undang-undang Nomor 43 tahun 2007 tentang Perpustakaan dan undang-undanng Nomor 23 tahun 2014 tentang Pemerintahan Daerah serta Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 18 Tahun 2016 tentang Organisasi Perangkat Daerah.
Sekertaris Perpustakaan dan kearsipan kabupaten Batanghari H Bustami menyampaikan, Dengan adanya Tranformasi perpustakaan berbasis inklusi sosial ini kedepan dapat membangun kesadaran dan pengembangan perpustakaan untuk masyarkat
Dijelaskannya, Perpustakaan ditetapkan sebagai urusan wajib non-pelayanan dasar untuk menyediakan layanan yang sesuai dengan kemajuan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi serta kebutuhan masyarakat.
Tujuan dari penyelenggaraan kegiatan Transformasi Perpustakaan Berbasis Inklusi Sosial ini untuk memperkuat peran perpustakaan umum dalam meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia Indonesia.
“Melalui peningkatan kemampuan literasi yang meningkatkan kreativitas masyarakat dan mengurangi kemiskinan akses informasi,” sebutnya.
Terpisah, Bupati Batanghari Ir Syahirsah melalui Staf Ahlinya Irwan menyampaikan, sebagaimana diamanatkan pada undang-undang 43 tahun 2007 tentang perpustakaan. Konsep inklusi sosial melibatkan masyarkat agar adil, aman dan berdampak lansung kepada masyarakat.
“ Saya berpesan, agar seluruh stakeholder dapat mengajak dan megarahkan ke perpustakaan agar dapat membesarkan dan terus mengembangkannya,” imbuhnya.
Buapati juga berharap, perpustakaan juga dapat diperluas di seluruh desa dan kelurahan di kabupaten Batanghari, agar dapat terjangkau dengan program ini. “ Mari mamfaatkan bersama perpustakan yang ada untuk memperluas kegiatan di perpustakaan,” harapnya.
Kabid perpustakaan dan kearsipan kabupaten Batanghari Dra Emanelfia dalam pemaparannya menyampaikan, perpustaakan itu bukan hanya sekedar tempat buku dan membaca. Namun perpustakaan merupakaan pusat kegiatan.
“ Kabupaten Batanghari menduduki Rangking 5 dalam tranformasi perpustakaan inklusi berbasis sosial di seluruh Indonesia,” sebutnya.
Sasaran kualitas pelayanan peprpustakaan inklusi sosial untuk kesejahteraan, dengan tiga indikator yaitu kegemaran membaca, pemamfaatan dan pelayanan berbasis inklusi.
Untuk mengembangkan ini, perlu dibangun sinergitas antar stakeholder di bidang perpustakaan di daerah. Dengan mengambil tema “Transformasi perpustakaan berbasis inklusi sosial” peserta yang terlibat dalam stakeholder meeting hadir kurang lebih 40 orang peserta.
“Sebagai penerima manfaat program transformasi perpustakaan berbasis inklusi sosial diharapkan mampu memfasilitasi Pemerintah kabupaten Batanghari, dengan melibatkan stakeholder terkait mendukung Transformasi perpustakaan berbasis inklusi sosial,” ujarnya.
