TANJABBARAT – Musibah kebakaran melanda belasan unit rumah warga dalam Kota Kuala Tungkal. Kali ini tepatnya di lorong Ahmad I dan lorong Kartika daerah Kelapa Gading, Rt 13, Kelurahan Tungkal Harapan, Kecamatan Tungkal Ilir, Kamis (12/9) sekitar pukul 10.00 wib.
Menanggapi hal itu, Bupati Tanjab Barat lansung turun meninjau lokasi kejadian. Safrial menghimbau kepada warga yang terkena musibah agar bersabar dan ikhlas. Selain itu, bupati juga meminta masyarakat untuk berhati-hati mengunakan kompor gas dan aruspendek listrik.
“ Semoga dengan adanya kebakaran ini ada hikmah untuk kita semua. Untuk korban tetap diberikan kesabaran dan ikhlas dengan apayang telah hilang. Semoga Allah SWT kedepannya memberikan rezki yang lebih dari itu,” harapnya.
Untuk mengatasi kesulitan air saat terjadi musibah kebakaran, Safrial menjelaskan, selain menormalkan PDAM, dirinya juga telah memerintahkan Dinas PU dan Perkim untuk membuat draenase di Kota Kualatungkal secara menyeluruh.
“ Sekaligus berfungsi sebagai draenase pembungan air hujan dan penampung air. Sehinga kedepan ketika ada kebakaran kita tinggal nyedot air dari draenase,” jelasnya.
Berdasarkan data yang dihimpun, sedikitnya 18 unit rumah warga di lorong ahmad dan lorong kartika terbakar, dengan rincian 13 unit rumah rusak berat, 3 unit rusak sedang, dan 2 unit rusak ringan. Akibat kejadian ini 18 Kepala keluarga (KK) atau 68 jiwa kehilangan tempat tinggal.
Kronologis kejadiannya, sekira pukul 10.00 Wib , Ketua Rt.13 Arsyad mendapatkan laporan dari masyarakat bahwa adanya kebakaran di salah satu rumah warga bernama Rifai yang beralamat di lorong Kartika Rt. 13, kemudian ketua RT menuju rumah asal api dan api sudah membesar dan membakar rumah Rifai yang dominan terbuat dari bahan papan, kemudian api dengan cepat membakar rumah disekitar.
5 Unit Mobil Damkar Tanjab Barat dan 1 Unit Mobil Damkar yayasan Budi Luhur diturunkan untuk melakukan upaya pemadaman dibantu oleh BPBD, TNI/Polri serta warga setempat, dan sekira pukul 10.45 Wib kobaran api berhasil dipadamkan. Tidak ada korban jiwa pada peristiwa tersebut, namun kerugian materil belum bisa di taksir.(den)
