MUARATEBO - Dua unit mobil truck membawa kayu olahan dan kayu bulat yang diduga hasil illegal loging, diamankan Tim Satreskrim Polres Tebo, Minggu (05/10/2019) dini hari.
Penangkapan dua mobil truck yang membawa kayu illegal tersebut, saat tim melakukan patroli di Simpang Betung Desa Sungai Aro Kecamatan Tebo ilir Kabupaten Tebo, Sabtu (4/10) lalu.
Dari hasil pemeriksaan di TKP, sopir truck tidak bisa mejunjukkan bukti dokumen. Dan sopir mengaku bahwa dokumen kayu tersebut dipegang oleh oknum polisi berinisial S yang bertugas di Poltabes Jambi.
Saat melakukan pengamanan, oknum polisi yang berpangkat Bripka itu mencoba menghalangi petugas. Namun, Tim Patroli berhasil mengamankan oknum polisi tersebut. Saat dimintai keterangan Bripka S juga tidak bisa memperlihatkan dokumen kayu tersebut.
Kasat menjelaskan, bahwa penangkapan oknum anggota polisi tersebut bermula saat dan anggotanya melakukan patroli di Simpang Betung Desa Sungai Aro Kecamatan Tebo ilir Kabupaten Tebo, Sabtu (04/10/2019) kemarin.
Saat patroli, pihaknya mendapatkan informasi bakal ada mobil truk bermuatan kayu bulat dan pecahan melintas di simpang tersebut.
Berdasarkan informasi itu, Kasat dan anggotanya langsung melakukan penyelidikan. Alhasil, pihaknya meelihat 2 unit mobil truk dengan bak tertutup melintas dari arah Betung.
Karena curiga, Riedho bersama anggotanya langsung menghentikan laju mobil truk tersebut. Saat diperiksa, ternyata benar kedua mobil truck tersebut bermuatan kayu kayu log (bulat) dan kayu olahan.
"Saat kita tanya dokumen kayu tersebut, mereka (sopir truck) tidak bisa memperlihatkan dokumennya. Mereka bilang kalau dokumennya ada pada Bripka S yang sedang mengawal mobil truck tersebut," kata Riedho, Selasa (08/10/2019).
Tidak itu saja, Bripka S juga melakukan perlawanan dan mencoba menghalang-halangi anggota saat hendak mengamankan kayu diduga ilegal itu. " Meski ada perlawanan, akhirnya kita berhasil mengamankan kayu yang diangkut tersebut," sebut Riedho.
Untuk kepentingan pengembangan kasus ini ujar Riedho, anggotanya mengamankan barang bukti yakni, 1 unit mobil truk Nopol BH 8492 WM bermuatan 6 batang kayu bulat dan 37 kayu pecahan. Dan 1 unit mobil truk Nopol BH 8516 WM bermuatan 13 batang kayu bulat serta 2 lembar STNK mobil truk.
" Tersangka dan barang bukti kita amankan di Mako Polres Tebo," pungkasnya. (Zie)
