MUARATEBO - Pasca dilakukan penahanan terhadap tersangka kasus pengunaan gelar akademis palsu, yang merupakan anggota Dewan Tebo, Jumawarzi dari partai Gerindra beberapa waktu lalu. Hingga saat ini belum ada usulan Pergantian Antar Waktu (PAW) atas tersangka Jumawarzi tersebut.
" Hingga saat ini belum ada usulan PAW yang saya terima. Kan saya baru selesai dilantik," kata Mazlan ketua DPRD Tebo definitif yang dilantik, Senin (28/10/2019).

Sebelumnya, tersangka Jumawarzi Anggota DPRD Tebo dari Partai Gerindra terbukti menggunakan gelar akademik palsu atau pemalsuan ijazah resmi ditahan oleh pihak Kejaksaan Negeri Tebo. Tersangka dititipkan di lapas Tebo kelas IIB Muara Tebo.
Terkait penahanan tersangka, Kasi Pidana umum (Pidum) Kejari Tebo, Yoyok Adi Syahputra, SH.MH, saat dikonfirmasi mengatakan bahwa pihaknya menerima pelimpahan berkas perkara tahap dua dari penyidik Polres Tebo.
" Terdakwa hari ini kita dakwa dengan pasal 93 junto pasal 28 ayat 7 UU RI thn 2012 tentang pendidikan tinggi atau pasal 68 ayat 2 UU RI No 20 tahun 2003 tentang sistem pendidikan Nasional," kata Yoyok.
Yoyok juga mengatakan, bahwa setelah kesepakatan tim dan mengingat ketentuan pasal 21 KUHAP. Pihaknya melakukan penahanan terhadap tersangka Jumawarzi selama 20 hari kedepan.
" Terdakwa kita tahan dan dititipkan di lapas kelas IIB Muara Tebo," katanya.
Saat ditanya apakah ada penanggguhan penahanan dari terdakwa, Yoyok menjelaskan bahwa terdakwa sempat melakukan permohonan penahanan.
" Atas kesepakatan tim maupun keputusan JPU dan keputusan pimpinan bahwa pihaknya tetap melakukan penahanan," jelasnya.
Sementara, pengacara terdakwa Tomson Purba saat dimintai keterangan terkait penahanan klainnya, dirinya mengatakan bahwa sebelumnya ia sempat melakukan panangguhan penahan. Tetapi, jaksa penuntut umum (JPU) tetap melakukan penahanan.
