BATANGHARINEWS.COM - Satuan Lalulintas (Satlantas) Polres Batanghari setidaknya keluarkan 1.384 Surat Tilang bagi pengendara yang melanggar lalu lintas.
Surat Tilang itu dikeluarkan Satlantas Polres Batanghari selama dua pekan melaksanakan Operasi Zebra tahun 2019 di wilayah hokum Polres Batanghari.
“ Selama Operasi Zebra tahun 2019, Satlantas Polres Batanghari keluarkan 1.384 Surat Tilang bagi para pengendara yang melanggar peraturan lalu lintas,” kata Kasat Lantas Polres Batanghari, AKP Nafrizal pada Rabu (6/1/2019).
AKP Nafrizal bilang, dalam operasi tersebut pelanggaran masih di dominasi oleh pengendara roda dua. Rata-rata pelanggar tersebut masih banyak yang tidak memiliki SIM dan tidak membawa tidak membawa STNK kendaraan saat berkendara.
“ Pelanggar rata-rata tidka punya SIM dan tidak bawa STNK pada saat razia berlangsung,” kata AKP Nafrizal.
Nafrizal juga berujar, dalam gelaran Operasi Zebra tahun 2019 ini, jumlah pengendara yang melanggar meningkat jika dibandingkan pada Operasi Zebra tahun 2018 lalu. Saat itu (2018-red) Satlantas Polres Batanghari keluarkan surat tilang sebanyak 1.335 lembar.
“ Tahun 2019 ini kita keluarkan surat tilang 1.384 lembar. Artinya pada tahun ini meningkat sebanyak 52 surat tilang yang kita keluarkan,” ujarnya.
Nafrizal juga bilang, selain melakukan razia pihaknya juga melakukan sosialisasi melalui Satgas Prefentif kepada pengendara agar tertib dalam berlalu lintas.
“ Selain kepada pengendara kita juga melakukan sosialisasi kepada komunitas club motor dan sekolah-sekolah untuk bersama mensosialisasikan tertib dalam berlalu lintas,” katanya.
Nafrizal menghimbau kepada masyarakat Batanghari agar dapat melengkapi surat-surat kendaraan saat menggunakan kendaraannya, seperti SIM, STNK beserta memakai helm SNI, baik bagi pengemudi maupun penumpang.
Hal tersebut dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk menjaga keselamatan dan kenyaman bagi pengendara itu sendiri, maupun pengguna jalan lainnya,” tutup Nafrizal.(*)
