Pelaku yang di kejar oleh masyarakat berlari mengamankan diri dan bersembunyi di jalan lintas Sumatera. Namun saat itu, Acil tengah melintas usai menyerahkan bantuan dari panti asuhan Muhammadiyah. Melihat  massa berkumpul di pinggir jalan, namun tidak ada yang berani menangkap pelaku.

Naluri TNI yang terlatih langsung bergerak ke dalam semak-semak yang mencurigakan. Sementara itu pelaku yang bersembunyi di rumpun bambu tidak berani keluar akibat masa yang makin banyak berdatangan dengan membawa senjata tajam.

Dengan sigap Acil melihat pelaku langsung di bekuk dan di bawa ke Polres Merangin. Namun warga yang sudah marah berupaya menghakimi pelaku yang di tangkap Acil. Dengan perjuangan keras akhirnya pelaku bisa di amankan di Polres Merangin.

“ Awalnya saya baru pulang dari panti asuhan. Saat pulang saya melihat warga sudah berkumpul di tepi jalan dan mengatakan ada begal. Naluri saya langsung bergerak membantu, akhirnya saya dapatkan pelaku tengah bersembunyi di rumpun bambu,” ungkap Acil.

Pelaku yang sudah di tangkap tidak pelak menjadi bulan-bulanan warga. Namun dengan kesigapan Acil langsung bisa di bawa ke Polres.

“ Warga mulai marah dan membawa sajam, pelaku langsung saya bawa ke dalam mobil saya dan saya bawa ke Polres Merangin,” ucapnya lagi.

Firdaus pelaku begal, mengaku merampas motor di desa Nalo kecamatan Nalo Tantan. Namun motor hasil begalnya kehabisan minyak sehingga di dorong, tapi ada warga yang mengejar pelaku sehingga pelaku langsung kabur sebelum tertangkap oleh anggota unit Intel Kodim 0420/Sarko.

“ Saya rampas motor milik tukang kayu, bersama dua kawan saya Sar dan Man. Tapi motor yang saya bawak mogok kehabisan minyak. Dua kawan saya kabur dan saya di tangkap tentara,” tandasnya di Polres Merangin.(don)
