BATANGHARINEWS.COM – Narapidana (Napi) Lembaga Pemasyarakatan (Lapas) Klas IIB Muarabulian yang mengakhiri hidupnya dengan cara gantung diri akhirnya terungkap.
Korban diketahui murni bunuh diri dengan cara gantung diri berdasarkan hasil visum yang dilakukan oleh dokter Rumah Sakit Umum HAMBA Muarabulian.
Korban bernama Abdul Gafur (42), Napi kasus narkoba, warga RT 10 RW 04 Kelurahan Pasar Baru, Kecamatan Muara Bulian, Kabupaten Batanghari.
Ini dikakui Kepala Seksi (Kasi) Bimbingan Narapidan dan Kegiatan Kerja Lapas Klas IIB Muarabuulian, Budi Sutiyo.
Budi menuturkan, kejadian tersebut diketahui oleh rekan korban, Sabtu (13/12/2019) sekira pukul 04.30 wib.
Saat itu, rekan korban ingin mengambil air wudhu. Saat membuka pintu kamar mandi, rekannya tersebut melihat almarhum sudah dalam keadaan tergantung di tralis kamar mandi dengan menggunakan kain sarung,” kata Kasi Binadik Lapas Klas IIB Muarabulian.
Budi berujar, melihat hal tersebut, rekan korban langsung menyampaikan kejadian kepada regu jaga yang berjaga pada saat kejadian tersebut. Kemudian, regu jaga langsung mengambil tindakan dengan menurunkan korban dari tempat kejadian setelah melakukan koordinasi dengan KPLP.
“Setelah itu, KPLP, pak Ilham langsung melaporkan kepada pihak penyidik (Kepolisian-red) dan langsung datang ke lokasi kejadian untuk melakukan penyidikan,” terangnya.
Lanjut Budi mengatakan, setelah itu KPLP langsung berkoordinasi dengan Kepala Lapas Klas IIB Muarabulian untuk melakukan visum di Rumah Sakit Umum Hamba Muarabulian. Sekira pukul 07. 00 wib Pak Ilham langsung membawa korban ke RSUD Hamba Muarabulian untuk dilakukan visum.
“Kita juga sudah mendapatkan surat keterangan kematian dari rumah sakit, bahwa korban memang murni bunuh diri. Untuk hasil visumnya masih menunggu hasil penyidikan pihak kepolisian,” ujarnya.
Untuk dugaan sementara, faktor korban nekat mengakhiri hidupnya, dijelaskan Budi, sekira satu bulan yang lalu istri korban mendatangi Lapas Klas IIB Muarabulian untuk mengantarkan surat perceraian dari Pengadilan Agama kepada korban.
“Kalau almarhum sendiri selama menjalani pembinaan prilakunya cukup baik. Namun, setelah menerima surat perceraian dari istrinya tersebut dalam beberapa hari almarhum mulai banyak melamun sejak menerima surat cerai tersebut,” tuturnya.
“Tapi kita juga tidak mengetahui apakah ada faktor lain dari luar yang menyebabkan almarhum nekat mengakhiri hidupnya,” tuturnya.
