KUALATUNGKAL -Jelang Natal dan tahun baru,Mapolres Tanjab barat memusnahkan Ratusan botol minuman keras (miras) dengan berbagai merek dan ratusan liter tuak serta petasan di Halaman Mapolres Tanjab Barat,Kamis (19/12/19).
Pemusnahan miras dilakukan dengan cara digilas dengan stoomwals.
"Kali ini ada 250 botol miras dari berbagai jenis dan merek dan tuak sebanyak 400 liter yang kami musnahkan hasil operasi penyakit masyarakat (pekat)," jelas Wakapolres Tanjabbar Kompol Wirmanto Dinata, usai pemusnahan, di Mapolres Tanjabbar, Kamis (19/12/19).
"Dari hasi operasi pekat juga berhasil kami amankan sekitar 60 orang yang terlibat tindak miras, perjuadian, dan termasuk 2 orang pejudi online

lanjut wakapolres, Menjelang Natal dan Tahun Baru masyarakat diimbau tetap menjaga ketertiban umum. Imbauan itu disampaikan Wakapolres Tanjab Barat, Kompol Wirmanto Dinata saat menjadi Inspektur upacara pada apel gelar pasukan Operasi Lilin Tahun 2019, di halaman Mapolres Tanjab Barat.
Wakapolres juga mengatakan, apel gelar pasukan ini diselenggarakan secara serentak di seluruh jajaran guna meninjau kesiapsiagaan personil, serta pengecekan sarana dan prasarana pengamanan.
Pasalnya menjelang perayaan natal dan pergantian tahun merupakan momentum yang akan dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat untuk berkumpul bersama keluarga dan merayakan Natal dan Tahun Baru.
Sebanyak 68 personil dari Polres akan diterjunkan untuk pengamanan Natal dan Tahun Baru dari tanggal 23 Desember 2019 sampai 1 Januari 2020. Personel dari Polres dibantu tim gabungan berasal dari TNI, instansi terkait, antara lain Satpol PP, Dinas Perhubungan, Dinas Kesehatan, dan Pemadam Kebakaran (Damkar), dengan total keseluruhan sebanyak 340 Tim gabungan.
"Jadi selama sepuluh hari kita lakukan pengamanan ketat untuk menjaga situasi tetap aman dan kondusif selama perayaan Natal dan Tahun Baru," kata Wakapolres Kompol Wirmanto di Mapolres Tanjab Barat, Kamis (19/12/19)
Untuk Pos Pengamanan sendiri ada 2, Pospam di Tungkal Ulu Simpang Rambutan, Tungkal Ilir dan di Pos Kota, dan sebanyak63 gereja mulai dari Tungkal Ulu hingga Tungkal Ilir dilakukan pengamanan secara ketat sepanjang perayaan Natal dan Tahun Baru," terang Wakapolres.
