Tiga orang korban Penambang Emas Tanpa Izin (PETI) di Desa Baru Kecamatan Batang Masumai yang berhasil dievakuasi, ditinjau Bupati Merangin Al Haris di Kamar Mayat RSD Kol Abundjani.
MERANGIN, -Tiga orang korban Penambang Emas Tanpa Izin (PETI) di Desa Baru Kecamatan Batang Masumai yang berhasil dievakuasi, ditinjau Bupati Merangin Al Haris di Kamar Mayat RSD Kol Abundjani, pada Senin (23/12).
Bupati bersama Ketua TP PKK Merangin Hj Hesty Haris dan Kapolres Merangin AKBP M Lutfi, yang menyaksikan langsung ketiga jenazah yang sudah melepuh tersebut, mengaku sangat prihatin.
“Mari kita doa-kan semoga ketiga jenazah ini, arwahnya diterima disisi Allah SWT dan diampuni segala dosa-dosanya,” ujar Bupati disebelah jenazah yang belum terindentifikasi.
Ketiga jezanah yang diduga korban PETI ini jelas bupati, sedang diindetifikasi oleh Tim Forensik Polres Merangin dan RSD Kol Abundjani Bangko. Satu jenazah sudah diambil pihak keluarga untuk diberangkatkan ke Jawa.
Sedangkan dua orang lagi, kalau tidak ada yang mengaku keluarga akan diurus Pemkab Merangin, dimakamkan di Pemakaman Umum di Kabupaten Merangin.
“Tim Forensik sedang memeriksa sidik jari jenazah. Nanti melalui sidik jari ini akan diketahui almarhum ini tinggal dimana dan penduduk mana. Inilah canggihnya e-KTP sekarang ini,” terang Bupati.
Menyinggung apakah jenazah yang akan dipulangkan ke Jawa oleh pihak keluarga mendapatkan bantuan dari Pemkab Merangin? Dijelaskan bupati nanti untuk sarana transportasinya mobil jenazah akan dibantu.
Sebelumnya, ada sebanyak enam orang yang diduga pelaku PETI yang tertimbun longsor di kawasan PETI di Desa Baru Kecamatan Batang Masumai, pada Sabtu (21/12).
Ke enam orang tersebut, Yusuf, Jegek, Dosol, Dedok, Eko dan Danang. Yusuf merupakan korban yang pertama berhasil dievakuasi warga setempat dan sudah dimakamkan oleh pihak keluarga.
Sedangkan dua orang lainya masih dalam proses evakuasi. Musibah longsor itu terjadi diduga akibat intensitas hujan yang tinggi, sehingga mengakibatkan kontur tanah menjadi labil.
