MUARABULIAN - Pemerintah kabupaten Batanghari melalui Tim Seleksi MTQ belum lama ini melakukan seleksi terhadap 158 orang Kafilah asal Batanghari untuk mengikuti MTQ tingkat provinsi Jambi tahun 2020 nanti.
Dari 158 orang tersebut, 105 orang Kafilah dinyatakan gagal alias tidak lulus seleksi. Sementara 53 orang Kafilah lainnya dinyatakan lulus seleksi dan berhak mengikuti TC menjelang pelaksanaan MTQ nantinya.
"Kemarin Tim Seleksi dari Dewan Hakim MTQ kabupaten dan provinsi Jambi telah melakukan seleksi terhadap 158 orang Kafilah MTQ asal Batanghari untuk mengikuti MTQ tingkat provinsi Jambi ke-50 tahun 202 di kota Jambi. Dari 158 orang Kafilah yang diseleksi itu, 53 orang dinyatakan lulus, sedangkan 105 orang lainnya tidak lulus," kata M. Samin selaku Sekretaris Tim Seleksi Da'i Batanghari saat dikonfirmasi media ini pada Jum'at (27/12/2019).
Samin mengatakan, seleksi Kafilah MTQ tingkat provinsi Jambi itu dilaksanakan di kampus STIE Muarabulian pada tanggal 20 sampai 24 Desember 2019.
Pesertanya merupakan Kafilah MTQ yang berprestasi pada MTQ tingkat provinsi Jambi di Muarobungo dan Kafilah MTQ tingkat kabupaten Batanghari tahun 2019.
"Peserta nya ada juga Kafilah potensial. Untuk kriteria yang diambil adalah umur, kemampuan atau potensi Kafilah itu sendiri," ujar Samin.
Samin juga bilang, bagi Kafilah yang telah dinyatakan lulus seleksi, mereka dipastikan akan mengikuti TC yang Insyaallah akan dilaksanakan mulai bulan Maret 2020.
Menurut Samin, saat ini Batanghari masih kekurangan 20 orang Kafilah lagi. Artinya akan ada seleksi Kafilah tahap kedua. Direncanakan seleksi tahap kedua akan dilakukan pada Januari 2020.
Dimana peserta akan di cari di pondok pesantren maupun di sekolah yang ada di wilayah kabupaten Batanghari.
"Artinya kita jemput bola kesekolah untuk mencari peserta untuk diseleksi, namun sebelumnya kita akan kirim surat dari LPTQ kabupaten yang akan disampaikan ke sekolah maupun pondok pesantren yang dituju," ujar Samin menutup.
