KUALATUNGKAL - Halte sungai penghubung penyebrangan untuk perahu tradisional masyarakat, antara parit h Yakub desa bunga Tanjung dengan wilayah pasar Senin desa makmur jaya, Kecamatan Betara Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat, sampai saat ini belum difungsikan.
Padahal pembangunan nya sudah selesai sejak tiga bulan lalu. Namun kenyataannya hingga kini belum dapat digunakan oleh para jasa penambang untuk menyebrang kan kendaraan roda maupun penumpang lainnya.
Menurut penuturan warga setempat Sobari, bahwa halte penyebrangan antar wilayah dusun dan desa didaerahnya ini baru hitungan bulan selesai dibangun.
" Halte ini Kontruksi nya besi dan cor semen, dibangun mengunakan dana APBN sebesar Rp 1,9 milyar," ujar Sobari.
Kata Sobari, halte milyaran rupiah ini. Kini lebih banyak digunakan untuk tempat parkiran dan penumpukan Barang pertanian.
" Nampaknya halte ini tidak maksimal dan berfungsi seperti layaknya halte penyebrangan," ucap warga pasar Senin ini.
Diungkapkannya, Ia selaku penguna jasa penyeberangan perahu tradisional, dalam hal ini merasa kecewa kepada pihak rekanan kontraktor pembangunan halte tersebut.
" Wajar kami kecewa, kontraktor pembuat bestek halte sungai ini tidak menyesuaikan dengan kondisi dan juga kemauan warga. Sehingga bangunan nya tak dapat digunakan oleh para penambang dan juga calon penumpang," kesalnya.
Ungkapan senada juga disampaikan penambang lain Hanafi, ia menyebut akibat bangunan halte tidak menyesuaikan kondisi dan kontruksi yang diinginkan warga setempat. Penambang perahu akhirnya beralih menggunakan jembatan sederhana yang terbuat dari kayu, yang kiranya tidak membahayakan bagi warga maupun penumpang yang ingin menyeberang.
" Kita secara swadaya akan membuat jembatan kayu sederhana, yang penting tidak membahayakan bagi penumpang.
