TANJAB BARAT - Bupati Tanjung Jabung Barat, Dr. Ir. H. Safrial MS hadiri kegiatan peringatan Milad Badan Kontak Majelis Taklim (BKMT) ke-39 Kabupaten Tanjab Barat yang digelar di Gedung Balai Pertemuan Kantor Bupati, Selasa (14/1)
Bupati Tanjung Jabung Barat, Dr.Ir.H.Safrial MS dalam sambutannya mengucapkan selamat Milad BKMT ke-39. Lebih lanjut Bupati sampaikan, BKMT sebagai sebuah organisasi yang berperan aktif dan efektif dalam membangun umat harus senantiasa memiliki ahklaq mulia serta istiqomah demi meningkatkan derajat keimanan dan ketaqwaan masyarakat, khususnya generasi muda.
"Kedepannya kita inginkan putra-putri Tanjab Barat menguasai Imtek dan Imtaq, kedepan yang kita butuhkan adalah orang pintar yang berahlak," ungkap Bupati.
Masih dalam sambutannya, Safrial minta kepada jajaran OPD terkait, para Camat, Lurah, serta Kepala Desa untuk daat meningkatkan koordinasi, sinergitas dan ikut berperan aktif melakukan pembinaan organisasi BKMT.
"Dengan demikian diharapkan kedepannya BKMT dapat mengoptimalkan kontribusinya," ungkapnya.
"Saya berharap kepada segenap pengurus BKMT, mulai dari tingkat Kabupaten, Kecamatan, sampai Desa dan Kelurahan, agar terus berupaya mengembangkan fungsi utama BKMT, sebagai majelis keilmuan yang dapat menjadi pusat penguatan Aqidah," imbuhnya.
Sementra itu, Ketua BKMT Tanjab Barat, Hj. Tety Suiyarti S. Pd, mengapresiasi dan sampaikan terimakasih terima kasih kepada Pemkab Tanjab Barat yang telah mendukung suksesnya penyelenggaraan kegiatan milad BKMT yang mengangkat tema" Bersenergi Membangun Bangsa Menuju Kejayaan Umat".
Menurutnya, kegiatan BKMT ini sangat bermanfaat dalam rangka menjalin silaturahmi serta membangun uhkuwah islamiah.
"Majelis taklim merupakan salah satu sarana salam memupuk keimanan melalui pembelajaran dan tausiah," jelasnya.
Dalam kegiatan yang sama, Ketua PW BKMT Provinsi jambi Dr. Hj.Mualimah M.PD, menjelaskan BKMT merupakan salah satu Ormas terbesar yang ada di 34 Provinsi se-Indonesia.
Terkait Provinsi Jambi termasuk daerah rawan peredaran narkoba, Mualimah mengharapkan peran ibu-ibu anggota BKMT ikut berpartisipasi dalam memerangi bahaya laten Narkoba. Selain maslah Narkoba, menurutnya kasus kekerasan anak dan sex sesama jenis juga patut menjadi fokus perhatian bersama.
"Kita harapkan Majelis Taklim mampu berperan aktif dalam pencegahan dan penyalahgunaan narkoba yang rentan terjadi di lingkungan sekitar. Yang paling dekat adalah keluarga. Sebab orangtua yang memiliki pengetahuan tentang cara mengasuh anak yang baik, serta memiliki pengetahuan tentang strategi pencegahan narkoba, lebih mempunyai harapan besar untuk menjamin anak-anaknya bebas narkoba,” ujar Mualimah.
Diakhir kegiatan, Bupati Tanjung Jabung Barat Dr. Ir. H. Safrial MS berikan santunan uang tunai kepada anak-anak yatim piatu dari beberapa panti asuhan lingkup Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat.
