Satgas Pangan Pemkab Batanghari saat pres release terkait beras membal atau beras plastik ini pada Jum'at (24/1/2020) di ruang Asisten II bidang Perekonomian dan Administrasi Pembangunan Setda Batanghari.
MUARABULIAN - Setelah beredarnya video terkait adanya beras yang di jatuhkan ke meja dan memantul bak seperti bola yang viral di media sosial.
Tentunya membuat masyarakat resah akan mengkonsumsi beras.
Hal ini segera ditanggapi oleh Satuan Tugas (Satgas) Pangan Pemkab Batanghari dan langsung menggelar pres release terkait beras membal atau beras plastik ini pada Jum'at (24/1/2020) di ruang Asisten II bidang Perekonomian dan Administrasi Pembangunan Setda Batanghari.
Asisten II Setda Batanghari, Muhammad Rifa'i, SP.ME saat dikonfirmasi media ini mengatakan, untuk mengantisipasi adanya hal serupa di kabupaten Batanghari khususnya, tim Satgas Pangan yang terdiri dari Dinas Perikanan dan Ketahanan Pangan, Dinas Tanaman Pangan dan Hortikultura, Dinas Perkebunan dan Peternakan, Dinas Koperindag, Dinas Kesehatan, pihak Polres Batanghari, Bagian Ekonomi Setda Batanghari dan pihak terkait lainnya, pada Senin (27/1/2020) hari ini akan melakukan pengecekan dan pengawasan beras plastik yang sempat viral di media sosial dalam kabupaten Batanghari.
"Ada tiga tim Satgas yang akan turun ke sejumlah pasar tradisional yang ada di Batanghari pada Senin 27 Januari besok (hari ini-red). Mereka akan mengecek dan melakukan pengawasan beras di tataran agen maupun pengecer," kata Rifa'i.
Rifa'i bilang, seteleh pengecekan dilapangan nanti, maka hasilnya nanti akan dilakukan press release faktanya apakah di Batanghari terdapat beras plastik atau tidak.
"Hasil pengecekan tim nanti akan kita informasikan melalui press release, faktanya di Batanghari terdapat beras plastik atau tidak," ujar Rifa'i.
Saat itu Rifa'i menegaskan bahwa sejauh ini di Batanghari belum ada ditemukan peredaran beras plastik.
"Sejauh ini belum ada, belum ada. Baik itu pantauan OPD teknis," tegas Rifa'i.
Meskipun demikian, kata Rifa'i, nanti pemerintah melalui OPD teknis akan memasang brosur tentang cirikhas atau ciri-ciri beras asli dengan beras plastik," kata Rifa'i.
Sementara itu Kepala Dinas Perikanan dan Ketahanan Pangan Batanghari, Ir. Kusumo Adiwijoyo, kepada media ini menjelaskan ciri-ciri atau perbedaan beras asli dengan beras plastik.
Untuk beras asli, kata Kusumo, ciri-cirinya berwarna keruh/putih susu, ukuran hektrogen/butir tidak beraturan, bau khas beras, apabila direndam tenggelam, dikepala beras terlihat kuning, apabila dibakar tidak meleleh, apabila dimasak dan dikepal dan dilempar pasti tidak memantul kecuali beras pullen akan memantul sedikit, bila dibubur pasti hancur, memiliki cangkang dan apabila direndam air cucian berwarna keruh.
Sementara beras plastik ciri-cirinya berwarna bening/putih mengkilat, ukuran agak homogen, tidak ada bau khas beras, apabila direndam mengapung atau melayang, dikepqlq beras tidak terlihat kekuning-kuningan, apabila dibakar akan meleleh, apabila dimasak dan dikepal dan dilempar pasti akan memantul tinggi, bila dibubur tidak akan hancur menjadi bubur, tidak memiliki cangkang curatan padi dan apabila direndam tidak berwarna keruh," terang Kusumo Adiwijoyo.
