BATANGHARINEWS.COM, JAKARTA - Langkah maju terus dilakukan SKK Migas dan INPEX untuk mewujudkan penyelesaian pembangunan dan komersialisasi kilang Abadi Masela. Kali INPEX selaku Kontraktor Kontra Kerja Sama (KKKS) menanda tangani Nota Kesepahaman, Rabu, 19 Februari dengan PT PLN dan PT Pupuk Indonesia untuk mensuplai kebutuhan gas kedua perusahaan dalam negeri tersebut dari Proyek LNG Abadi, Wilayah Kerja Masela. Rabu (19/2/2020).
Nota Kesepahaman ini dimaksudkan untuk memulai pembahasan atas penjualan dan pembelian untuk mensuplai gas, yakni (a) LNG ke pembangkit listrik tenaga gas yang dioperasikan oleh PLN dan (b) gas alam sebesar 150 juta standard kaki kubik per hari (mmscfd) untuk kilang co-production yang akan dibangun PT Pupuk Indonesia.
Nota Kesepahaman ini menandai pencapaian terbaru dari pengembangan Proyek LNG Abadi di Kabupaten Kepulauan Tanimbar, propinsi Maluku, Indonesia yang memiliki cadangan terbukti yang sangat besar mencapai 18,5 TCF dan 225 juta barrel kondensat, akan menjadi salah satu pilar penting sebagai enginee of growth yang mampu menopang kebutuhan industri di Indonesia secara berkelanjutan.
Penandatangan Nota Kesepahaman ini dilakukan oleh Presiden Direktur INPEX Masela, Ltd Kenji Kawano, Presiden Direktur PLN Zulkilfi Zaini, Presiden Direktur Pupuk Indonesia Aas Asikin Idat, disaksikan oleh Menteri Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral Arifin Tasrif, Wakil Menteri BUMN Budi Gunadi Sadikin, Kepala SKK Migas Dwi Soetjipto, Duta Besar Jepang untuk Indonesia Masafumi Ishii dan Presiden & CEO INPEX Corporation Takayuki Ueda.
“Nota Kesepahaman ini merupakan satu tahap pencapaian dari pengembangan Proyek LNG Abadi Masela. Penyerapan gas oleh Pupuk Indonesia dan PLN menunjukkan komitmen Pemerintah dan industri hulu migas untuk memprioritaskan permintaan gas dari dalam negeri sebagai upaya bersama untuk meningkatkan daya saing industry nasional untuk membangun perekonomian Indonesia yang berkelanjutan,” kata Dwi Soetjipto
Presiden & CEO INPEX Takayuki Ueda berterima kasih kepada Pemerintah Indonesia khususnya atas kerjasama yang telah dibangun dengan INPEX untuk mewujudkan Nota Kesepahaman ini.
“Kami senang dengan hasil kolaborasi bersama dengan Pemerintah Indonesia termasuk dengan Kementrian ESDM, SKK Migas, PLN dan Pupuk Indonesia tentang Nota Kesepahaman ini,” kata Ueda.
“Pelaksanaan Nota Kesepahaman ini akan meningkatkan kepastian dari Proyek LNG Abadi yang menjadi salah satu Proyek Strategis Nasional Indonesia dan diharapkan mendorong optimisme masyarakat dan sektor industri di Indonesia serta pasar LNG internasional. Dengan semangat kebersamaan, kami yakin kita dapat mencapai tujuan bersama untuk membuat Proyek LNG Abadi ini berproduksi sesuai jadwal dan dapat berkontribusi bagi ekonomi Indonesia,” lanjutnya.
Kenji Kawano sependapat mengenai hal tersebut, sambil menambahkan bahwa kebutuhan gas Indonesia secara konsisten tumbuh dalam jangka panjang, sehingga minat gas dari perusahaan Indonesia menjadi hal yang sangat penting untuk diperhatikan oleh INPEX.
