Merangin bakal punya bendungan raksasa yang akan dapat mengairi ribuan hektar sawah di kecamatan Sungai manau dan sekitarnya.
MERANGIN,-Merangin bakal punya bendungan raksasa yang akan dapat mengairi ribuan hektar sawah di kecamatan Sungai manau dan sekitarnya. Anggaran mega proyek bendungan raksasa Sungai Merangin tersebut diperkirakan akan menghabiskan dana Rp 2,8 Triliun, namun dengan perhitungan saat ini dana tersebut membengkak menjadi Rp 3,3 Triliun.
Kepala Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (PUPR) Kabupaten Merangin Aspan, ST mengatakan, anggaran proyek bendungan Sungai Merangin mengalami perubahan dari yang dipoerkirakan semual yakni meningkat Rp 500 M.
“Ya anggaran untuk bendungan bertambah jadi Rp 3,3 T. Anggaran itu sudah dihitung hingga pembebeasan lahan juga,” kata Aspan.
Aspan menjelaskan, anggaran Rp 2,8 T awalnya hanya untuk pembangunan bendungan dan penambahan anggaran jadi Rp 3,3 T itu temasuk pembangunan untuk kegunaan lainnya.
“Penambahan anggaran jadi Rp 3,3 T itu langsung dibangun untuk pembangkit listrik tenaga air atau PLTA dan air bersih. Kalau anggaran awalnya itu hanya untuk bendungan,” ungkapnya.
Menurut Aspan, untuk tahun 2020 ini, rencana pembanguna bendungan tersebut, sudah masuk tahapan pembuatan izin atau pengajuan Amdal dan juga pembebasan lahan.
“Untuk lahan yang dibebaskan itu luasnya kurang lebih 800 hektar dan tahun ini harus jelas. 800 hektar itu nantinya digenangi air dan 2021 mulai dilakukan kegiatan fisik,” terangnya.
Secara teknis tinggi bendungan mencapai 80 meter dengan ketebalan 318 meter. Rinciannya 20 meter ke dalam tanah dan 60 meter ke atas. Hitungan teknis pembangunan bendungan ini diperkirakan menghabiskan 1,5 juta kubik material.
