MERANGIN - Warga dari Kecamatan Tabir Barat, Senin (16/3/20) menggelar aksi demo. Sebelum menuju ke DPRD Merangin, masa aksi ini sempat menggelar orasi di ujung jalur dua. Setelah itu dengan mengendarai roda dua dan empat masa ini menuju  ke gedung DPRD.

Setelah melakukan orasi menuntut agar anggota DPRD Merangin khususnya dari daerah pemilihan Tabir, lebih pro aktif dalam menyikapi persoalan jalan di Tabir Barat. Apalagi pihak Pemerintah Kabupaten Merangin telah menganggarkan dana sebesar 29 milyar, namun terhalang dengan adanya surat dari Dinas Kehutanan Provinsi Jambi s.987/dishut-2-2/III/2020 tentang penggunaan kawasan hutan pada ruas jalan Muara Jernih-Muara Kibul Kabupaten Merangin terdapat kawasan hutan produksi  (HP Sungai Aur) lebih kurang 1.327 meter.

 “Kami anggota dewan dari dapil II Tabir mendukung semua aspirasi masyarakat termasuk dalam pembuatan jalan diwilayah Tabir barat. Apalagi anggaran sebesar 29 milyar pinjaman dari SMI telah tersedia," kata Ketua DPRD Merangin, Herman Efendi, ST. MM.

Hal senada juga disuarakan Asari Elwakas anggota DPRD dari Dapil II Tabir. Kata dia, keputusan kami tentang jalan di Tabir Barat itu sudah harga mati, kami akan cari solusinya agar tetapterlaksana. Terkait dengan keinginan pendemo juga pembangunan jalan ke Air Liki di ujung Tabir Barat, Asari El Wajas yang biasa dipanggil dengan sapaan Apuk ini mengatakan.

 “Pembangunan jalan Air Liki di Tabir Barat tahun 2020 sudah kita anggarkan tinggal pelaksaaannya saja," ucapnya.

Meski pihak dewan sudah menberi solusi agar pertemuan dengan UPTD Kehutanan dilaksanakan di gedung dewan dengan alasan lokasiyang sempit dan dipinggir Lintas Sumatera, namun masa aksi tetap bersikeras untuk melakukan aksi di kantor UPTD tersebut.

Dengan pengawalan aparat Kepolisian Resort Merangin dan Sat Pol PP, aksi masa ini di UPTD Kehutanan terus mendesak agar pelaksanaan pembangunan jalan di Tabir Barat dapat dilaksanakan. “Kami tidak akan meninggalkan UPTD ini sebelum ada kepastian tentang pembangunan jalan di Tabir Barat,” tegas Taufik Sukma dalam orasinya.

Setelah berunding cukup lama juga disaksikan oleh Kapolres Merangin, AKBP M. Lutfi, Ketua DPRD Merangin Herman Efendi, ST. MM dan Kepala UPTD Kehutanan Rusnal, SP, akhirnya pihak provinsi mengabulkan rencana pembukaan jalan di Tabir Barat tersebut. dan selanjutnya keputusan tersebut akan dikordinasikan dengan Bupati Merangin.
