MERANGIN - Setelah Pemeritah pusat menyatakan darurat wabah virus Corona atau Covid-19, Pemerintah Kabupaten selalu melakukan pencegahan masuknya wabah virus corona ke Kabupaten Merangin.
Melalui tim terpadu penanganan wabah virus Corona, Pemerintah Kabupaten Merangin  akan melakukan penyemprotan disinfektan secara massal di tempat-tempat pelayanan umum selama tiga hari.
Penyemprotan akan dilakukan pada Kamis 26 Maret hingga Sabtu 28 Maret 2020, meski penyemprotam disinfektan akan dilakukan secara masal di tempat-tempat fasilitas umum, pihak Pamerintah Kabupaten Merangin memastikan tidak penutupan areal fasilitas umum seperti pasar dan pertokoaan yang ada di Kabupaten Merangin.
Pj Sekda Merangin, H. Hendri Maidalef menjelaskan jika penyemprotan disinfektan secara massal ini tidak akan mempengaruhi aktifitas pertokoan maupun lokasi pasar di Kabupaten Merangin.
"Tidak ada penutupan areal fasilitas umum, namun jika pemilik usaha ingin menutup tokonya tidak ada larangan, namun kami pemerintah tidak pernah mengatakan jika selama penyemprotan, toko-toko harus tutup," jelas Hendri Maidalef.
Pj Sekda juga mengatakan,Pemerintah Kabupaten Merangin sangat serius dengan bencana wabah virus corona yang melanda dunia saat ini.
"Antisipasi terus kita lakukan, dan ini akan terus berlanjut hingga pemerintah mencabut status darurat virus corona," tandasnya.
