MERANGIN - Dua pekan terakhir, sejumlah wartawan baik media cetak, on-line hingga media visual yang bertugas di Merangin mengaku, kesulitan untuk mendapatkan berbagai data terkait perkembangan kasus virus corona (Covid-19), dikantor Dinkes Merangin. 
Tak ayal, Kadinkes Merangin Abdai pun menjadi ‘bulan bulanan’ para pemburu berita, lantaran dituding kurang pro-aktif memberikan berbagai informasi terkait perkembangan virus corona di Bumi Merangin.
Padahal, dalam surat lampiran Menteri Dalam Negeri Nomor 440/2622/SJ tentang pembentukan gugus tugas percepatan penanganan corona virus disease (covid-19)  di daerah, jelas setidaknya terdapat tiga tugas dan fungsi dari instasi tersebut.
Selain tercatat, Dinkes sebagai Intansi pencegahan penanganan dan pemulihan daerah, juga melaksanakan upaya  pencegahan didaerah secara menyeluruh dan terkoordinasi antar intansi, hingga menyediakan logistik peralatan darurat didaerah.
Namun sejauh ini, terkait apa saja yang sudah dilakukan Dinkes Merangin terkait wabah  virus corona di Merangin hingga perkembanganya, dirasa sejumlah wartawan sulit didapat.
“Entahlah bagaimana kita bisa mendapatkan data dari Dinkes Merangin terkait perkembangan virus corona ini.
“Iya, Kadinkes-nya sangat sulit untuk dihubungi guna mengkonfirmasi berbagai perkembangan virus corona. Di Short Mesagge Service (SMS) tidak dijawab, di WhatsApp dibaca saja, dan tidak dijawab, dan ditelepon tak pernah diangkat,” ungkap Tugas Tri Wahyono salah satu pewarta dari media on-line yang bertugas di Merangin, saat dibincang.
Senada, Luth juga salah satu pewarta dari media visual  memberikan peryataan tak berbeda. 
Bahkan, menurut Luth saat pihaknya mendatangi posko penanganan corona dikantor Dinkes Merangin, atau Minggu, (29/03/2020), sekitar pukul 13.30 WIB, nampak posko yang berada dilingkup kantor Dinkes Merangin tersebut terlihat terkunci rapat.
“ Tidak ada aktivitas disana, juga tidak ada petugas jaga-nya. Tapi posko-nya ada. Padahal kita mau mendapatkan informasi berbagai perkembangan virus corona disana. Bahkan gerbang pagar utama kantor tersebut hanya terbuka sebatas lintasan motor. Kita hanya butuh informasi, tidak lebih pak. Kok sulit sekali rasanya,” beber Luth nampak mengeluh.
Dilain kesempatan, salah satu wartawan senior Merangin Doni Sobri berharap pihak Dinkes Merangin, bisa lebih terbuka terhadap para pemburu berita, dibalik kasus virus corona yang tengah booming.
“Itu harapan kami setidaknya. Kami hanya butuh data, dan sedikit konfirmasi terkait berbagai perkembangan virus corona, tidak lebih kok. Sehingga berbagai data yang kami terima bisa kami kabarkan terhadap pembaca secara valid. Itu kami lakukan, tentu demi menghindari kabar hoax,” pinta Sekretaris PWI Merangin ini, bertutur. 
Seperti biasanya, lagi - lagi Kadinkes Merangin Abdai juga belum bisa dikonfirmasi, ihwal persoalan ini.
