Dari penangkapan tersangka Jnr di Dusun Sebahau, Kelurahan Dusun Baru, Kecamatan Tabir, Polisi menyita barang bukti 1 (satu) buah paket sedang narkotika jenis Shabu bruto 3,47 Gram; 1 (satu) perangkat alat hisap Shabu/bong yang terbuat dari botol lasegar; 1 (satu) unit Hp merk samsung; 1 (satu) buah sendok takar; 1(satu) buah korek api gas;  1 (satu) buah dompet; 1 (satu) buah bungkus rokok samporna mild.

Menurut Polres Merangin kronologis penangkapan JNR, pada hari Rabu tanggal 25 Maret 2020 sekira pukul 09.00 WIB anggota Tim Opsnal Sat Resnarkoba yang dipimpin oleh AIPTU TIMBUL NAULI SIAHAAN mendapatkan Informasi bahwa di Dusun sebahau Kecamatan Tabir sering terjadi transaksi narkotika jenis Shabu. Berbekal Informasi tersebut, kemudian team melakukan Lidik dan Pulbaket dan pada hari Senin tanggal 30 Maret sekira jam 14.26 Wib  di TKP team melihat pelaku sedang mengkonsumsi narkotika jenis Shabu dengan beberapa orang. Melihat hal tersebut oleh team langsung dilakukan penggerebekan dan pelaku berhasil diamankan dan saat dilakukan penggeledahan disaku depan celananya ditemukan satu bungkus rokok Sampoerna yang didalamnya terdapat satu bungkus narkotika jenis shabu berukuran sedang dan diakui Narkotika tersebut adalah miliknya. Selanjutnya oleh team dilakukan pengembangan atas kejadian tersebut Pelaku dan Barang Bukti yang diamankan di bawa ke Polres Merangin untuk di lakukan pemeriksaan lebih lanjut.

Kapolres Merangin, AKBP M. Lutfi melalui Kassubag Humas Polres Merangin Iptu Idih membenarkan adanya  penangkapan Jnr warga Rantau Panjang Tabir,  dalam kasus narkotika dan saat ini tersangka dalam penahanan Polres Merangin. “Benar kemarin hari Senin (30/3) ada penangkapan tersangka Narkoba atas nama Jnr warga Tabir dan saat ini tersangka masih dalam pemeriksaan Sat Narkoba Polre Merangin," tandas Iptu Idih.
