MERANGIN - Upaya pencegahan pandemi Covid-19, Kodim 0420/Sarko bagikan masker gratis kepada masyarakat Kabupaten Merangin, Kamis (16/4/2020).
Hal ini dilakukan sebagai kegiatan sosial dalam upaya pencegahan penyebaran Covid 19 di wilayah Kabupaten Merangin.
Kegiatan bagi-bagi masker ini dipimpin oleh Dandim 0420/Sarko, Letkol Inf Tomi Radya Diansyah Lubis  didampingi Ketua Persit KCK Cab XXVII Kodim Sarko Ny Vika Tomi.
Pembagian masker dilakukan di beberapa titik seperti di sekitaran Makodim 0420/Sarko, play over Pasar Baru Bangko dan Pasar Bawah Bangko
Dandim 0420 menyebutkan, kegiatan sosial ini sebagai langkah kepedulian terhadap masyarakat dalam  pencegahan penyebaran Covid-19.
“Ini dilakukan untuk membantu masyarakat dalam kebutuhan dasar yaitu masker guna mencegah pandemi covid 19,” ujar Letkol Tomi.
“Hari ini sebanyak 250 masker yang kita bagikan kepada masyarakat,” ucap Dandim.
Dandim Sarko menghimbau kepada seluruh lapisan masyarakat Merangin agar tetap menjaga kebersihan serta menjaga jarak selain itu gunakan perlindungan seperti masker pada saat keluar rumah atau berpergian.
“Tetap jaga kebersihan dan apabila tidak ada keperluan mendesak sebaiknya di dalam rumah saja,” tandasnya.
