TANJAB BARAT - Anggota DPRD kabupaten Tanjab Barat mengaku nama rumah sakit Merlung belum pernah dibahas di dewan.
Hal itu ditegaskan anggota Komisi III DPRD kabupaten Tanjab Barat, M. Zaki kepada media Selasa (5/5) lalu.
Selaku ketua Bapemperda DPRD Tanjab Barat, dia mengaku belum pernah menerima selembar surat terkait soal nama rumah sakit Merlung.
"Tidak pernah ini dibahas secara resmi. Jika benar sudah di perdakan, saya selaku ketua Bapemperda belum pernah terima selembar surat pun terkait hal itu," kata Zaki.
Dia juga menyayangkan klaim sepihak dari pemerintah kabupaten terkait nama rumah sakit Merlung.
"Itu kan dibangun pakai uang rakyat. Untuk namanya tentu harus melalui persetujuan rakyat, setidaknya pahlawan Tanjab Barat yang di pakai namanya untuk RS itu," tegasnya.
Saat ditanya apa upaya DPRD terkait polemik nama RS Merlung tersebut, Zaki mengaku akan komunikasikan untuk menjadi inisiatif DPRD Tanjab Barat.
Sementara, H. Assek dari Fraksi Gerindra mengatakan, nama RSUD di kecamatan Merlung harus dibahas serius antara Dewan dengan Pemkab serta masyarakat, agar jangan sampai menimbulkan polimik atau persoalan.
"Kalau saran dari Fraksi Gerindra, nama RSU Merlung harus diganti dengan nama pahlawan yang berjasa di kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat," ujarnya.
"Kita juga tidak tau nama yang saat ini dipakai untuk RSU Merlung tersebut, apakah itu termasuk nama pahlawan atau tidak, makanya fraksi gerindra ngotot pemberian nama RSU Merlung. Ini harus dibahas kembali benar tidak nama yang dipakai saat ini termasuk nama pahlawan, karena fraksi gerindra inginkan nama RSU merlung itu nama pahlawan yang berasal dari Tanjabbarat dan dikenal semua masyarakat," ujar Assek.
Ditanyai gimana bisa RSU Merlung tersebut langsung ada nama dan siap yang beri namanya, apakah sebelumnya tidak dibahas bersama Dewan hingga Dewan tidak tau," terang H. Assek.
Menurut keterangan kabag Hukum nama tersebut usulan dari masyarakat ULU. Masyarakat yang mengajukan namanya, setelah diajukan baru dimusyawarakan, begitu menurut keterangan dari Kabag Hukum."ujar Assek.
