MUARABULIAN - Berpulangnya Wakil Bupati Batanghari, Hj. Sofia Joesoef, SH kepangkuan sang Kholik pada Senin malam (25/5), menyisahkan kesedihan mendalam bagi keluarga, kerabat dan masyarakat Batanghari.
Ribuan masyarakat Batanghari menyambut kedatangan Jenazah almarhumah ibu empat anak itu, di Rumah Dinas Wakil Bupati Batanghari, Jalan Sri Sodewi Muarabulian pada Selasa (26/5/2020).
Usai melakukan Sholat Jenazah di Rumah Dinas Wakil Bupati Batanghari sekira Pukul 11.55 WIB, Bupati Batanghari Syahirsah mengajak seluruh masyarakat Kabupaten Batanghari, untuk bersama sama mengirimkan do’a kepada mendiang Sofia Joesoef agar arwahnya ditempatkan sebaik baiknya tempat disisi Allah SWT.
”Almarhumah Ayuk Sofia (Wakil Bupati Batanghari) orang baik, mari kita bersama mengirimkan do’a kepada Allah SWT, agar almarhumah diberikan sebaik baiknya tempat disisi Allah SWT. Untuk keluarga yang ditinggalkan kiranya untuk bersabar menghadi cobaan ini," kata Syahirsyah saat melepas Jenazah di kediaman Rumah Dinas Wakil Bupati Batanghari Selasa (26/5/2020).
Hj. Sofia Joesoef kelahiran Sumatera Selatan, 15 November 1952 itu tutup usia diumur 68 Tahun Di Rumah Sakit Siloam Jambi, pada Senin malam (25/5)sekira Pukul 23.45 WIB akibat serangan jantung.
Sekda Batanghari Bakhtiar, jajaran Pemkab Batanghari, TNI, Polri, beserta ribuan pelayat mengiringi jenazah almarhumah untuk dihantarkan ke peristirahatan terakhir Bumi Ayu Desa Durian Luncuk. Jenazah Mendiang Hj. Sofia Joesoef dikebumikan disamping pusara suami tercinta H. Abdul Fattah.
