MUARABULIAN- Menyambut regulasi pemerintah pusat akan penerapan "New Normal", Bupati Batanghari, Ir. Syahirsah, Sy lakasanakan Gotong Royong (Goro) bersama para Pejabat Batanghari membersihkan taman wisata Talang Umo Tinggal yang berlokasi di depan rumah dinas Bupati Batanghari, Senin (8/6/2020).
Dalam kesempatan itu Bupati Batanghari mengharapkan, agar kehidupan sehari hari menjadi bersih.
"Jangan sampai terlena, mentang-mentang New Normal terus budaya hidup sehat selama Covid-19 kita tinggalkan. Jangan sampai tidak mengikuti peraturan protokol kesehatan Covid-19," ujar Bupati Batanghari, Ir. Syahirsah, Sy.
Selain gotong royong bersama, Bupati juga mengikuti acara makan bersama di lokasi taman wisata Talang Umo Tinggal.
"Iya, makan bersama ini kita lakukan agar silaturrahmi antara bawahan dan atasan tetap terjaga. Sebab, selama masa Pandemi kita tidak diperbolehkan berkumpul. Untuk itu pada hari ini kita kumpul bersama sambil cerita Satu sama lain," ujarnya.
Selanjutnya, setelah kawasan dibersihkan, Bupati mengajak semua yang hadir untuk menanam pohon langka di sekitar taman wisata.
"Penanaman pohon langka ini selain untuk penghijauan juga bisa menjadi daya tarik pengunjung. Pohon langka ciri khas, yakni pohon bulian. Ada beberapa bibitnya sudah ditanam sepanjang taman. Semoga kedepannya menjadi daya tarik tersendiri bagi para pengunjung," kata Bupati berharap.
