Sebagaimana di beritakan sebelumnya, masyarakat Teluk Nilau menyampaikan keluhannya terkait tanah perkebunan seluas lebih kurang 1000 Hektar yang selama ini dinilai telah dirampas oleh korporasi yang beroperasi di wilayah Kelurahan Teluk Nilau Kecamatan Pengabuan, dalam hal ini PT Wira Karya Sakti (WKS) dan PT Trimitra Lestari (TML).
Ditemui usai mediasi, Bupati Safrial mengaku pemerintah akan segera melakulan pemanggilan kepada pihak korporasi, masyarakat serta pihak terkait lainnya untuk penyelesaian sengketa.
"Insya Allah, tanggal 6 Juli nanti, kita akan panggil pihak koperasi, kelompok tani, BPN, dan Camat, dan kita lihat duduk persoalannya. Nanti kita sama-sama cari kebenarannya, agar kedepan masalah seperti ini tidak terjadi lagi," ujar Bupati.
"Insya allah kami (Pemkab) siap menyelesaikan masalah ini sesuai batas kemampuan kami. Tentu kami ambil tindakan tegas terhadap lahan kerjasama yang dasar hukumnya tidak jelas," tambahnya.
Lebih lanjut Bupati berharap pertemuan berikutnya akan didapat solusi atas permasalahan sengketa lahan ini sehingga tuntutan masyarakat Teluk Nilau bisa terpenuhi.
"Harapan kita, nanti bisa cari solusi sehingga apa yang menjadi tuntutan masyarakat Teluk Nilau ini bisa terpenuhi, jadi nanti kita lihat, kita urai, sehingga kasus ini terang benderang," pungkasnya.
