MUAROJAMBI - Aparat Kepolisian Resort (Polres) Muarojambi berhasil mengungkap aksi perampokan distributor sembako di Kecamatan Mestong, kabupaten Muarojambi beberapa waktu lalu.
Dua pelaku dari komplotan perampokan uang sebesar Rp 120 juta itu ditangkap tim Rajawali Satreskrim Polres Muarojambi pada Senin (6/7/2020) pagi.
Kasat Reskrim Polres Muarojambi, Iptu Khoirunnas melalui kasubag humas Polres Muarojambi AKP Amradi saat hubungi via WhatsApp membenarkan penangkapan tersebut. Kedua pelaku diamankan tanpa ada perlawanan.
"Iya benar sudah diamankan kedua pelaku mengakui perbuatannya," kata Amradi pada Kamis (9/7/2020).
Kedua pelaku merupakan warga Kota Jambi. Adapun identitas pelaku tersebut yakni, RH (39) warga Kelurahan Handil Jaya, Kecamatan Jelutung, Kota Jambi. Dan ES (30) warga Kelurahan Eka Jaya, Kecamatan Jambi Selatan, Kota Jambi.
"Keduanya diamankan di lokasi berbeda," kata," sebutnya.
Seperti dikatakannya, anggota pertama kali mengamankan pelaku RH saat tengah bersembunyi di kosan yang berada di Kelurahan Lebak Bandung, Kota Jambi.
"Berselang waktu satu jam, tim kembali menangkap pelaku ES di rumah mertuanya yang berada di belakang pasar Simpang Pulai, Kota Jambi," ujarnya.
Perkara perampokan yang terjadi pada 17 Juni 2020 ini masih dalam tahap pengembangan.
Masalahnya, masih ada tersangka lain yang belum tertangkap. Tim Rajawali Satreskrim Polres Muaro Jambi sampai saat ini masih berupaya melakukan pencarian terhadap tersangka lainnya itu.
"Berdasar pengakuan kedua tersangka, aksi perampokan itu dilakukan bertiga. Satu tersangka lagi berinisial ND dan masih kita cari keberadaannya," tutupnya.
