Dimana dalam ikrar sumpah atau janji anda ucapkan akan bekerja jujur, tertib, cermat dan bersemangat untuk ekpentingan Negara. Pernyataan tersebut mengandung konsekwensi bahwa, saudara-saudara akan bekerja dengans ekuat daya yang dimiliki, dengan penuh keiklasan dan motivasi yang tinggi.
Untuk itu, untuk mewujudkan semua itu, harus ada kepercayaan dan tekad dalam diri Aparatur Negeri Sipil (ASN) bahwa tugas atau pekerjaan yang dilakukan tersebut adalah ibadah.
“Saya ingatkan berikanlah pelayanan yang terbaik kepada masyarakat, jangan menganggap bahwa dengan kita menjadi Pegawai Negri Sipil (PNS) ini, bahwa kita bebas berbuat sekehendak hati kita, karena sekali lagi dihadapan masyarakat, dihadapan kita sama-sama manusia kita bisa berdalih, kita bisa berbohong, tetapi dihadapan tuhan tentu tidak ada satupun yang bisa kita sembuyikan,” kata Bupati Batanghari , Ir. Syahirsah Sy pada penyerahan SK PNSD Formasi Umum tahun 2018 di halaman kantor Bupati Batanghari baru-baru ini.
Selaku Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) dituntut untuk mampu memperlihatkan etika dan moralitas yang merefleksikan tindakan dan sikap terpuji, yang pada akhirnya mampu mencerminkan sosok aparatur pemerintah yang professional, baik di tempat kerja, di lingkungan rumah tangga maupun masyarakat.
Bupati Syahirsah bilang, persoalan etika dan moralitas adalah persoalan yang amat mendasar, yang seyogyanya dibentuk dari dalam diri dan lingkungan keluarga masing-masing.
“Saya berharap saudara dapat melaksanakan pekerjaan yang menjadi tupoksi saudara, dengan kinerja yang baik sesuai bahkan melebihi yang diharapkan. Selain itu, saya berharap kiranya saudara-saudara mampu menajdi panutan di tengah-tengah masyarakat, baik di tempat kerja maupun di lingkungan tempat tinggal anda,” ujar Bupati.
