MERANGIN – Untuk meningkatkan pelayan kepada masyarakat di Kabupaten Merangin Provinsi Jambi, Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Kabupaten Merangin terus berupaya memberikan pelayanan terbaik dalam semua unsur, apalagi di saat era digitalisasi saat sekarang ini. Salah satu aksi perubahan yang akan dilakukan BPS Merangin adalah akan memberikan pelayanan kepada masyarakat melalui aplikasi AsikMen berbasis android. Sehingga nantinya menurut Kepala BPS Kabupaten Merangin, Arpan Soni, SE masyarakat dapat mengakses yang berkaitan dengan BPS dapat melalui android di masa saja berada, yakni dapat diunduh diplaystore. ‘’Kami BPS akan memberikan pelayanan yang terbaik kepada masyarakat dalam memperkenalkan BPS dan nantinya mempermudah permintaan data melalui aplikasi AsikMen di android,’’ kata Arpan Soni di ruang Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Kabupaten Merangin, Kamis, 16 Juli 2020. Selanjutnya dilakukan pemaparan terkait dengan aplikasi AsikMan BPS oleh Eni Kusrini, SST, MT selaku Kasi IPDS BPS Kabupaten Merangin. Dijelaskannya, bahwa nantinya dalam aplikasi AsikMen BPS Merangin akan memperkenalkan sekilas tentang BPS kepada pembaca dan juga akan bisa mendapatkan data terkait dengan BPS di Kabupaten Merangin, karena aplikasi AsikMen akan di link ke website bps.merangin.go.id. ‘’Aplikasi AsikMen adalah salah satu aksi perubahan yang akan dibuat dan untuk diterapkan di BPS Merangin nantinya. Untuk itu mohon masukan dan pemikirannya sebelum dilunchingkan,’’ papar Kusrini. Dijelaskan Kusrini, tujuan aplikasi AsikMen nantinya, agar masyarakat Kabupaten Merangin dapat mengetahui tentang informasi yang berkaitan dengan kegiatan Statistik BPS dengan mudah dan asik hanya dengan menggunakan handphone android. Karena masih banyak masyarakat yang belum mengetahui tentang istilah statistik seperti sensus, susenas, survei dll. ‘’Aplikasi AsikMen berisi tentang Informasi BPS, Kegiatan Statistik BPS dan istilah Statistik,’’ ungkap Kusrini. Sementara itu, Kepala Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Kabupaten Merangin, Ir. Muhamad Arief RH, Mum menyambut baik kedatangan dari Kepala BPS Merangin dan romobongan yang telah memaparkan rencana aksi perubahan aplikasi AsikMen yang akan dibuat pihak BPS Merangin. Hadir juga dalam kesempatan tersebut Erwandi, SAg, Kepala Bidang PLIKP Dinas Kominfo Merangin, para kasi dan staf Dinas Kominfo Merangin.
