BATANGHARINEWS.COM - Bimbingan teknis untuk penguatan News Room Serikat Media Siber Indonesia (SMSI) yang dilaksanakan di Kota Tangerang pada tanggal 5-6 Agustus 2020 telah di tutup secara resmi oleh Firdaus ketua Umum SMSI Pusat, Kamis (6/8/2020).
Sebelumnya, acara bintek dibuka secara resmi oleh Wakil Ketua DPR RI, Azis Syamsuddin pada Rabu (5/8/2020).
Pada kesempatan tersebut, Azis mendorong Serikat Media Siber Indonesia (SMSI) berperan dalam mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa.
“Saya berharap SMSI memiliki peranan dalam mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa," kata Azis dalam pembukaan bimbingan teknis siberindo.co di Tangerang.
Menurut Azis, negara akan maju apabila minat membaca rakyatnya tinggi. Karenanya Azis mendorong SMSI dapat mencetak para penulis handal, yang bukan hanya sekedar menulis berita di media namun dapat ditingkatkan hingga menulis buku. Sehingga dengan menulis tadi bukan hanya turut berkontribusi mencerdaskan bangsa, namun menjadi peluang bisnis baru.
Azis wanti-wanti agar perusahaan siber yang tergabung dalam SMSI tidak memuat berita bohong, menyebarkan kebencian dan mendiskreditkan pihak tertentu. Karena hal itu selain dapat dijerat hukum dengan pasal 28 UU ITE juga tidak bermanfaat untuk bangsa ditengah pandemi ini," kata Azis.
Azis juga mengajak seluruh peserta bintek siberindo.co dari seluruh pelosok Indonesia untuk melaksanakan pekerjaannya dengan sebaik-baiknya agar menjadi amal ibadah bagi dirinya masing-masing.
"Agar kita semua menjadi bermanfaat bagi bangsa dan menjadi ibadah bagi kita,” ajak Azis anggota DPR RI 3 periode itu.
Hadir pada acara tersebut Ketua Umum SMSI Pusat Firdaus, Sekretaris Jenderal SMSI HM Untung Kurniadi, Ketua Dewan Pakar SMSI Pusat Hendry Ch.
