MUAROJAMBI - Peristiwa kebakaran hebat terjadi di wilayah Hukum Polres Muarojambi.
Kebakaran kali ini terjadi di tempat Press Core (Tempat Pengeringan Triplek) dan gudng Broiler di PT. DUren Mandiri Fortune di Rt.10 Desa Sungai Duren, Kecamatan Jaluko, Kabupaten Muaro Jambi, Selasa (18/8/2020).
Humas Polres Muarojambi, AKP Amradi kepada media membenarkan peristiwa kebakaran tersebut.
AKP Amradi menjelaskan, pada hari Selasa tanggal 18 Agustus 2020 sekira pukul 12.40 Wib, pada saat karyawan sedang melaksanakan istirahat (Isoma) telah terjadi kebakaran tempat Press core (Tempat Pengeringan Triplek) dan gudang Boiler di PT. Duren Mandiri Fortune di Rt.10 Desa Sungai Duren, Kecamatan Jaluko.
"Terjadi peristiwa kebakaran tempat Press core (Tempat Pengeringan Triplek) dan gudang Boiler di PT. Duren Mandiri Fortune di Rt.10, Desa Sungai Duren, Kecamatan Jaluko, Kabupaten Muaro Jambi. Peristiwa itu berlangsung begitu cepat, api membesar begitu cepat mengingat gudang berisi bahan baku kayu berupa triplek," ujar AKP Amradi.
Dikatakannya, dalam kejadian tersebut tidak ditemukan korban Jiwa. Penyebab kebakaran saat ini sedang diselidiki oleh Unit Reskrim Polsek Jaluko.
"Dimungkinkan penyebab kebakaran adalah konsleting listrik, dimana dilokasi suhu hangat dan kabel mudah memuai," katanya.
Menurutnya, sekira pukul 13.00 Wib, 1 Unit Mobil Pemadam Kebakaran dari Kecamatan Jaluko dan berikut 2 (dua) Unit mesin Robin dari BPBD Kabupaten Muaro Jambi langsung memadamkan api yang terlihat cepat menghanguskan isi gudang yang berisi Triplek yang dikeringkan.
"Dalam peristiwa itu api dengan cepat melahap gudang pengeringan triplek yang berbahan baku kayu. Api dipadamkan sekira pukul 14.00 Wib," jelasnya.
Adapun kronologis kejadian yaitu: kejadian tersebut terjadi pada saat karyawan sedang istirahat makan siang, saat itu posisi gudang dalam keadaan kosong ditinggal pekerja, api baru diketahui sekira pukul 12.40 Wib sudah membesar membakar tempat pengeringan Triplek yang berbahan baku Kayu.
"Kerugian Materil untuk sementara belum bisa ditaksir berdasarkan keterangan Wilson Pemilik Pabrik," katanya.
Untuk saat ini unit Reskrim Polsek Jaluko melakukan penyelidikan lebih lanjut untuk mengetahui penyebab terjadinya kebakaran. Mengingat saat ini musim Kemarau antispasi kejadian serupa terulang kembali di Perusahaan PT. DMF," tutupnya.
