BATANGHARINEWS.COM - SKK Migas bersama KKKS Mandala Energy Lemang Pte Ltd kembali melaksanakan program Tanggung Jawab Sosial (TJS) sebagai bentuk komitmen KKKS terhadap wilayah sekitar operasional perusahaan.
Program TJS kali ini direalisasikan di Kelurahan Mekar Jaya, Kecamatan Betara, Kabupaten Tanjungjabung Barat, Provinsi Jambi yang dilaksanakan bersama Ditpamobvit Polda Jambi. Kegiatan realisasi program TJS yang dilakukan tersebut adalah normalisasi aliran parit sepanjang kurang lebih 6 km di sepanjang jalan Parit lapis.
Ketua RT Parit Lapis, Suparno menyampaikan ucapan terima kasih kepada SKK Migas dan KKKS Mandala Energy Lemang atas bantuan yang telah diberikan melalui program TJS dengan melakukan normalisasi parit ini.
“Jika air parit sudah meluap maka semua aktivitas akan terganggu, kebun kami pun bisa gagal panen, namun dengan dilakukanya normalisasi parit ini semoga hal tersebut tidak terjadi lagi,” ungkapnya.
Sementara itu, External Relation Mandala Energy Lemang Pte. Ltd. Yuan Fanesyah menyebutkan bahwa kegiatan normalisasi parit ini bertujuan untuk mencegah terjadinya banjir di lingkungan masyarakat di Kelurahan Mekar Jaya pada saat menghadapi musim penghujan dan sekaligus untuk memperlancar aliran air irigasi ke perkebunan masyarakat.
“Dengan kondisi ini diharapkan kegiatan pertanian masyarakat dapat berjalan lancar sehingga hasilnya dapat membantu ketahanan pangan nasional,” ujar Yuan.
Realisasi program TJS ini berlangsung kurang lebih selama 10 hari dan selama kegiatan tersebut berlangsung pengawasan bersama terus dilakukan oleh personil dari KKKS Mandala Energi, anggota Pamobvit Polda Jambi serta masyarakat setempat yang tidak lupa menerapkan protokol kesehatan guna mencegah penyebaran Covid -19 dengan sangat ketat.(***)
