JAMBI - Ketua DPRD Provinsi Jambi menghadiri Rapat Koordinasi Pemilihan Kepala Daerah Serentak 2020 dan Pengarahan Gugus Tugas Covid-19 di Provinsi Provinsi Jambi,Rabu (26/8/2020).
Pelaksanaan Rakor tersebut dihadiri dan dibuka langsung oleh Menteri Dalam Negeri (Mendagri) Tito Karnavian, Gubernur Jambi Fachrori Umar, serta diikuti jajaran Forkopimda Jambi, para Bupati/Walikota, KPU, Bawaslu se Jambi , serta pimpinan instansi vertikal di Jambi, di Hotel Swiss Bell Jambi.
Terkait dengan pelaksanaan Pilkada serentak di Provinsi Jambi 2020, Ketua DPRD Provinsi Jambi Edi Purwanto memberikan apresiasi kepada pelaksana pemilu, dalam hal ini KPU dan Bawaslu Jambi serta seluruh pihak yang terlibat, telah melaksanakan langkah-langkah persiapan tahapan Pilkada.
"Kita tentu ingin Pilkada tahun ini berjalan dengan baik, meskipun dalam kondisi masa pandemi seperti saat ini. Bagaimana kerja mereka yang di lapangan, itu yang harus diperhatikan sebagaimana protokol kesehatan dalam mencegah penyebaran covid-19,"sebutnya.
Untuk itu, dirinya meminta agar petugas lapangan yang berada pada garis depan dalam proses pelaksanaan Pilkada 2020 agar diberikan perhatian lebih. Seperti diberikan kelengkapan alat pelindung diri (APD) saat melakukan pendataan daftar pemilih.
"Karena mereka dalam melaksanakan tugas dalam melakukan pendataan, tentu akan berinteraksi langsung dengan banyak orang. Nah, di tengah pandemi saat ini, mereka perlu dibekali dengan APD yang memadai,"tegas Ketua DPRD Provinsi Jambi Edi Purwanto.
Lebih lanjut dijelaskan Politikus PDI Perjuangan ini, penyelenggara pemilu tentunya dapat mempersiapkan pelaksanaan Pilkada serentak 2020 dengan memperhatikan protokol kesehatan Covid -19.
"KPU harus mempersiapkan segala hal terkait dengan protokoler kesehatan, karena itu penting untuk mencegah penularan corona di Jambi . Pilkada tetap berjalan dan masyarakat juga tetap sehat," jelasnya.
Sebelumnya Menteri Dalam Negeri Republik Indonesia, Muhammad Tito Karnavian, dalam arahannya mengatakan memanfaatkan kunjungannya untuk penanganan Covi-19 karena Pilkada adalah bagian tidak terpisahkan dalam penanganan Covid-19, maka sangat penting untuk menerapkan protokol kesehatan dalam setiap tahap, agar tidak terjadi kluster baru.
“Kalau settingannya bagus, 2 isu (penanganan Covid-19 dan Pilkada) justru menjadi momentum emas dalam penanganan Covid,” tegasnya.
Setelah menjelaskan kronologi diundurnya pelaksanaan Pilkada Serentak Tahun 2020, yang sedianya 9 September 2020 menjadi 9 Desember 2020 (menunda bulan tetapi di tahun yang sama), Tito menekankan bahwa Pilkada Serentak harus disiapkan dengan benar-benar menerapkan prokol kesehatan yang ketat.
“Seluruh dunia fokus pada strategi utama, 3 M: membuat perilaku masyarakat patuh untuk memakai Masker, rajin Mencuci tangan dengan apapun yang bisa menghancurkan virus misalnya dengan sabun, dan Menjaga jarak,” lanjutnya.
Tito mengemukakan, Pilkada justru bisa menjadi momentum utuk melandaikan kasus Covid-19, karena pengendalian kasus, kalau hanya Pemerintah Pusat yang mengendalikannya tidak akan bisa, tetapi Pilkada bisa mentrigger (memicu) untuk penanganan Pilkada, karena semua daerah akan bergerak. “Untuk itu harus ada settingan tersendiri. Harus ada proteksi bagi penyelenggara, peserta, pemilih, dan pengawas,” ungkapnya.
Tito menyampaikan, Pemerintah Pusat mengalokasikan anggaran untuk Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) bagi KPU dan Bawaslu, sebagai upaya untuk penanganan Covid-19.
Selain itu, Tito menegaskan, dalam tahapan pelaksanaan Pilkada, jika ada pelanggaran supaya ditindak tegas. Kemudian, ia menambahkan agar diperbanyak materi debat tentang strategi penanganan Covid-19, sehingga ada adu gagasan dalam menangani Covid-19.
Ketua KPU Provinsi Jambi, Muhammad Subhan menyampaikan, ada 6 Pilkada di Provinsi Jambi pada tahun 2020, yaitu 1.Provinsi Jambi, 2.Kota Sungai Penuh, 3.Batang Hari, 4.Bungo, 5.Tanjung Jabung Timur, dan 6.Tanjung Jabung Barat.
Subhan mengatakan, anggaran untuk KPU Provinsi Jambi sudah ditransfer 100%, untuk kabupaten dan kota hanya ke Kabupaten Bungo yang belum ditransfer 100%, namun sedang dalam proses dan akan ditransfer 100% bulan depan.
Selanjutnya, Subhan menuturkan berbagai persiapan yang telah dilaksanakan oleh KPU, termasuk penerapan Protokol Kesehatan Pencegahan Penyabaran Covid-19 dalam tahap-tahapan pelaksanaan Pilkada. (*)
