BATANGHARINEWS.COM - Satuan Kerja Khusus Pelaksana Kegiatan Usaha Hulu Minyak dan Gas Bumi (SKK Migas) bersama Medco E&P Natuna Ltd. berhasil merealisasi tambahan program pengeboran 2 (dua) sumur pengembangan di Lapangan Kerisi pada Wilayah Kerja South Natuna Sea Block B dan mendapatkan hasil yang lebih besar dari harapan awal. Keberhasilan ini merupakan hasil yang membanggakan dari usaha keras dan inovasi yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan produksi dan lifting migas nasional di tengah pandemi COVID-19 dan harga minyak rendah.
“Kami gembira dan memberi apresiasi tinggi kepada Medco E&P Natuna Ltd yang telah berhasil merealisasi tambahan kegiatan pengeboran 2 (dua) sumur pengembangan ini, dan terlebih memberikan hasil yang lebih baik dari harapan awal. Hal ini sangat berarti dalam usaha memenuhi target lifting migas nasional 2020,” kata Plt. Kepala Divisi Program dan Komunikasi SKK Migas Susana Kurniasih di Jakarta (4/9).
Kegiatan pengeboran dilakukan dengan melakukan sidetrack pada sumur yang produksinya telah menurun, yaitu KA-08 dan KA-09. Minyak dan gas dari Lapangan Kerisi tersebut kemudian dialirkan melalui pipa ke fasilitas Belanak. Setelah sidetrack, Sumur KA-09 mulai berproduksi pada 29 Juli, dengan laju alir sebesar 20 juta standar kaki kubik per hari (mmscfd). Sementara sumur KA-08 mulai berproduksi pada 9 Agustus dengan laju alir sebesar 5.000 barel minyak per hari (bopd).
“Pencapaian ini jauh melebihi target awal yaitu sebesar 8 mmscfd untuk sumur KA-09ST1 dan 560 bopd untuk sumur KA-08ST1. Hal ini kembali menunjukkan bahwa di kawasan itu masih bagus,” tambah Susana.
Berkaca pada keberhasilan ini, Susana meminta agar Kontraktor Kontrak Kerja Sama (KKKS) lain juga segera melakukan aktivitas operasi produksi sesuai dengan target yang telah disepakati bersama SKK Migas. “Jika KKKS lainnya berkomitmen dengan targetnya masing-masing, kami optimis lifting migas nasional akan tercapai,” tegas Susana.
Lapangan Kerisi merupakan salah satu lapangan migas yang berada di Blok B Laut Natuna Selatan, terletak di Kepulauan Anambas, Provinsi Kepulauan Riau. Lapangan tersebut pertama kali diproduksikan pada Desember 2007. Sebelumnya, Wilayah Kerja tersebut dioperasikan oleh ConocoPhillips Indonesia, namun kemudian diakuisisi dan dioperasikan oleh Medco E&P Natuna Ltd. mulai 2016.
