JAMBI- Kementrian Pekerjaan Umum Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR) memasukkan pembangunan jalan Tol Trans Sumatera ruas Palembang-Jambi menjadi prioritas.
Hal itu disampaikan langsung Menteri PUPR Basuki Hadimuljono di Majalenka Senin (7/9) lalu. Basuki menyebut tiga prioritas pembangunan proyek jalan tol yakni Jogyakarta-Solo, Palembang-Jambi, dan Pekanbaru-Padang.
"Kedua antara Palembang ke arah Betung - Jambi di Sumatera. Karena ruas pertama sudah bertarif akan kita lanjutkan," kata Menteri PUPR dikutif dari Detik.com.
Menurutnya, proyek infrastruktur yang akan dikerjakan PT Hutama Karya, jalan tol sepanjang 191 km tersebut adalah impian seluruh masyarakat Jambi agar segera terealisasikan. Mengingat jarak tempuh selama ini 7 jam dapat dipersingkat menjadi 3 jam dengan adanya jalan tol.
"Apalagi saat ini telah dilaksanakan pekerjaan Amdal, FS, Basic Desain dan dokumen perencanaan pengadaan tanah atau DPT," ujar Anggota dewan dari dapil Kota Jambi ini, Kamis (10/9/2020).
Lanjut Dia, Pemprov Jambi melalui dinas PUPR dan OPD terkait harus proaktif memberi informasi kepada masyarakat Jambi yang tanah miliknya digunakan untuk ruas jalan tol tersebut. Kemudian melaksanakan penerbitan penetapan lokasi oleh gubernur berdasar permen No 90 dan dilakukan pembebasan lahan (ganti rugi).
"Kita berharap kalau bisa di tahun 2021 mendatang sudah mulai pelaksanaan kontruksi. Mengingat proyek strategis nasional jalann Tol Trans Sumatera ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan konektivitas (ketergubungan) antar Provimsi/daerah, serta multiflyer efect dampak ganda bagi perekonomian daerah dan masyarakat," harapnya.
