JAMBI - Penjabat Sekretaris Daerah (Pj.Sekda) Provinsi Jambi, H. Sudirman, SH.,MH., menyatakan, pejabat fungsional harus melakukan inovasi kegiatan untuk mendukung upaya meningkatkan kinerja pelaksanaan program dan kegiatan di Pemerintah Provinsi Jambi. Hal tersebut disampaikan Sudirman pada Pelantikan dan Pengambilan Sumpah Pejabat Fungsional Tertentu di Lingkungan Pemerintah Provinsi Jambi, yang berlangsung di Ruang Pola Kantor Gubernur Jambi, Jum’at (02/10).
“Pejabat fungsional yang baru saja dilantik harus melaksanakan tugas dengan profesional, penuh tanggung jawab, berdedikasi tinggi dan penuh loyalitas demi kemajuan Provinsi Jambi, khususnya dalam memenuhi penilaian kriteria dari Wilayah Bebas Korupsi (WBK) guna membantu mewujudkan Wilayah Bebas Korupsi Nasional (WBKN). Lakukanlah inovasi kegiatan sebagai nilai tambah bagi pemenuhan angka kredit yang dibutuhkan,” ujar Sudirman.
Sudirman menuturkan, terdapat 3 jenis jabatan dalam instansi pemerintah yaitu, Jabatan Tinggi Pratama (JPT), Jabatan Administrasi (JA) dan Jabatan Fungsional (JF), seperti yang tertuang dalam Peraturan Pemerintah nomor 11 tahu 2017 tentang manajemen PNS. “Jabatan fungsional sendiri merupakan jabatan yang berisi fungsi dan tugas berkaitan dengan pelayanan fungsional berdasarkan pada keahlian dan keterampilan tertentu,” tutur Sudirman.
“Keuntungan menjadi pejabat fungsional antara lain, kesempatan naik pangkat lebih cepat, kelas jabatan lebih tinggi dan mendapatkan tunjangan yang lebih besar dibandingkan dengan jabatan pelaksana. Pejabat fungsional juga memiliki kesempatan untuk menjadi JPT, adminstrator maupun pengawas,” tambah Sudirman.
Selanjutnya, Sudirman berpesan kepada para pejabat fungsional bahwa jabatan pemerintah adalah sebuah amanah, yang mana pemerintahan merupakan lapangan pengabdian dalam memberikan pelayanan sebaik baiknya kepada masyarakat. Semua dapat tercermin dalam melaksanakan tugas sehari hari dengan disiplin, profesionalisme, prestasi kerja serta perilaku kerjasama yang saling menghargai.
Pada kesempatan tersebut, Sudirman melantik dan mengambil sumpah sebanyak 20 orang pejabat fungsional tertentu berdasarkan SK Gubernur Jambi nomor: 751/KEP.GUB/BKD/3.3/2020, dengan rincian, pejabat fungsional dokter 2 orang, pejabat fungsional epidemiologi 2 orang, pejabat fungsional arsiparis 6 orang, pejabat fungsional bidang pertanian 3 orang, pejabat fungsional P2UPD 5 orang, pejabat fungsional perencana 2 orang dan pejabat fungsional pengawas tenaga kerja 1 orang.
