JAMBI – Aksi unjuk rasa tolak Undang-undang Omnibus Law Cipta Kerja di DPRD Provinsi Jambi diwarnai kericuhan antara pengunjuk rasa dan aparat kepolisian, Kamis (8/10/2020). Ini terjadi karena massa aksi yang berjumlah seribuan tersebut memaksa masuk ke gedung DPRD Provinsi Jambi. Akhirnya polisi melakukan pembubaran paksa.
Edi Purwanto, Ketua DPRD Provinsi Jambi menyampaikan bahwa dirinya sudah menemui pengunjuk rasa, mendukung dan siap meneruskan aspirasi mereka ke DPR RI. “Tapi mereka tetap maksa masuk semua, kan nggak mungkin, susah kan mengendalikannya,” terang Edi.
Edi juga menyayangkan ditemukan 3 lubang di kaca gedung DPRD Provinsi Jambi yang diduga bekas tembakan peluru senjata api. “Saya udah tanya Brimob, diduga kuat itu bekas peluru senjata api, dan itu bukan dari aparat keamanan, sekarang sedang olah TKP,” jelas ketua DPD PDI Perjuangan Provinsi Jambi ini.
Menurut Edi, bekas tembakan tersebut mengindikasikan ada pihak-pihak yang berusaha menodai perjuangan suci para pengunjuk rasa. Ia berharap kepolisian segera mengusut temuan tersebut. “Adek-adek mahasiswa, kawan-kawan LSM, buruh dan masyarakat Jambi yang berunjuk rasa juga harus hati-hati, jangan sampai ditunggangi oleh pihak-pihak yang punya niat buruk memperkeruh suasana,” terang Edi.
Selanjutnya, Edi menambahkan bahwa DPRD Provinsi Jambi terbuka bagi setiap aspirasi masyarakat Jambi, dan siap memperjuangkannya selama sesuai dengan aturan yang berlaku. “Selama disampaikan baik-baik kita welcome kok, tapi kalo udah anarkis, harus berhadapan dengan aparat keamanan,” tutup Edi. (*)
