JAMBI - Sekretaris Daerah (Sekda) Provinsi Jambi H.Sudirman,SH.MH mengemukakan, berdasarkan RTRW Nasional, wilayah Pantai Timur Provinsi Jambi (Ujung Jabung) termasuk dalam penetapan koridor ekonomi prioritas yang berbasis pada komoditi sektor unggulan wilayah. Hal itu dikemukakannya saat menghadiri Rapat Paripurna Istimewa Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur dalam rangka Hari Ulang Tahun (HUT) ke-21 Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur, di Ruang Sidang Gedung DPRD Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur, Rabu (21/10/2020), dengan tema “Memperkuat dan Mendorong Ketahanan Ekonomi pada Masa Pandemi Covid-19.”
Sidang istimewa DPRD Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur dipimpin Ketua DPRD Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur Mahrup. Turut dihadir Ketua Dharma Wanita Persatuan Provinsi Jambi Hj.Iin Kurniasih Sudirman, para unsur Forkopimda Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur, para mantan Bupati Tanjabtim, dan para undangan lainnya.
Sekda menyampaikan, wilayah perairan laut Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur merupakan bagian dari alur pelayaran kapal nasional dan internasional (ALKI I) dari utara ke selatan atau sebaliknya dan jalur perdagangan internasional menuju Singapura dan kawasan Asia Barat dan Eropa, sehingga dari sisi georafis daerah Tanjabtim sangat potensial untuk berkembang.
Sekda menjelaskan, Pemerintah Provinsi Jambi dalam Rencana Tata Ruang Wilayah (RTRW) Provinsi Jambi tahun 2013-2033, telah menetapkan Kawasan Ujung Jabung sebagai Kawasan Ekonomi Strategis Provinsi Jambi yang nantinya akan menjadi pemicu pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal, regional, nasional dan internasional dengan didukung oleh outlet Pelabuhan laut Ujung Jabung.
“Saya yakin berbagai harapan dan upaya yang sedang dan akan dilaksanakan saat ini, akan dapat terwujud dan tercapai apa bila kita semua bahu membahu dan bersinergi dengan baik, insha Allah bisa terwujud,” ungkap Sekda.
Sekda mengungkapkan, tantangan yang dihadapi pemerintah kedepan semakin kompleks, untuk meningkatkan pembangunan ekonomi, mengentaskan kemiskinan, menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan, serta meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat dan memperbaiki kualitas pendidikan dan kesehatan untuk mempersiapkan Generasi Emas Indonesia Tahun 2045.
Sekda mengatakan, sepanjang tahun 2020 semua aktivitas relatif tergangu, karena terbatasi dibawah bayangan pandemic Covid-19. Ia mengajak masyarakat yang berada di Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur untuk bersama-sama konsisten melaksanakan protokol kesehatan dengan 3 M secara ketat memakai masker, mencuci tangan dengan air yang mengalir dan menjaga jarak. “Dengan komitmen bersamalah kita bisa keluar dari masa krisis akibat Covid-19 ini,” ujar Sekda.
“Kondisi pandemi Covid-19 jangan kita biarkan menjadi sebuah kemunduran. Saya yakin kita semua tidak berdiam diri, dan mengambil pelajaran dari masa krisis ini, diantaranya kebiasaan baru yang lebih tertib, sehat, serta lebih peduli lingkungan, sebagai momentum untuk mempersiapkan diri dan siap melakukan lompatan pada saat pemulihan pasca Covid-19 di masa era kebiasaan baru yang akan datang,” sambung Sekda.
Sekda juga menjelaskan, dalam waktu yang bersamaan pada masa pandemi ini, pemerintah juga menyelenggarakan agenda demokrasi nasional Pilkada Serentak Tahun 2020. ”Kita mengharapkan semua pelaksanaan pilkada berjalan dengan aman dan damai, itu semua ada di pundak kita semua, pilkada tidak semata-mata menjadi tujuan kita, tapi merupakan sebuah proses atau cara untuk memperoleh pemimpin terbaik dan berkualitas kedepan yang mendapat legitimasi rakyat. Mari kita sukukseskan dengan menjaga stabilitas keamanan dan ketertiban di daerah kita masing-masing, serta gunakan hak konstitusi kita pada tanggal 9 Desember 2020,“ terang Sekda.
Sudirman juga mengemukakan, masa pandemi ini bukanlah menjadi penghalang untuk membangun, untuk mendorong Pemerintah Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur terus menggali dan mengembangkan potensi daerah yang produktif dan inovatif,” kata Sekda.
Sebelumnya, Penjabat sementara (Pjs) Bupati Tanjung Jabung Timur H.Varial Adhi Putra menyampaikan, sudah banyak upaya yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah daerah sejak awal terbentuknya Kabupaten Tanjab Timur saat ini untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat.
Pjs Bupati Tanjung Jabung Timur mengatakan, HUT ini dilaksanakan secara sederhana dengan menerapkan Protokol Kesehatan.
Bupati mengatakan, dalam kurun waktu tiga tahun terakhir ini, kontribusi PDRB Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur menunjukan trend positif, berkorelasi dengan peningkatan PDRB per kapita masyarakat dari Rp77,26 juta pada tahun 2017, mengalami kenaikan menjadi Rp81,82 juta pada tahun 2019.
