MUARABULIAN - Bertempat di pendopo rumah dinas Bupati Batanghari pada Jum'at (20/11/2020) pagi kemarin, Bupati Batanghari, Ir. Syahirsyah Sy secara langsung sambut kedatangan Pjs. Gubernur Jambi, Ir. Restuardy Daud, M.Sc ke Bumi Serentak Bak Regam Kabupaten Batanghari.
Kunjungan kerja Gubernur Jambi ke Batanghari ini dalam rangka Rapat Koordiansi Pilkada dan Penanganan Covid-19.
Tampak hadir Sekda Batanghari, Ir. Mulawarman, para kepala OPD lingkup Pemkab Batanghari, pejabat dilingkup Pemprov Jambi, Kapolres Batanghari, dan undangan lainya.
Dihadapan gubernur dan undangan yang hadir Bupati Batanghari, Ir. Syahirsah Sy pertama mengucapkan selamat datang kepada segenap rombongan Gubernur Jmabi di Kabupaten Batanghari.
Bupati juga memaparkan kronologis berdirinya Kabupaten Batanghari, luas wilayah, jumlah Kecamatan, jumlah Desa dan jumlah penduduk di Batanghari.
Selanjutnya Bupati Batanghari mengatakan, Pemkab Batanghari akan mengahadapi Pilkada serentak tahun 2020, mengingat pendemi Covid-19 yang diperkirakan akan amsih berlangsung dengan kondisi ini, pemerintah daerah bersama KPU dan Forkopinda akan mengawal pelaksanaan pesta demokrasi tersebut, agar dapat tetap berjalan aman dengan memprioritaskan keselamatan dan kesehatan masyarakat,” kata Bupati Batanghari.
Kedepatn dengan koordinasi dan komunikasi yang baik antara Pemprov, Forkopinda serta Pemda diharapkan pelaksanaan pilkada serentak ini dapat mengajak masyarakat untuk mensukseskan dan menciptakan pilkada aman, tertib dan sehat dengan menjalakna protocol kesehatan dengan disiplin.
Untuk itu beliau berharap kepada masyarakat Batanghari dapat mensukseskan agenda besar dan kesatuan masyarakat bersama menjaga pilkada damai yang akan kita laksanakan di Batanghari,” harap Bupati.
