MUARABULIAN - Seorang warga Kelurahan Sungai Rengas, Kecamatan Maro Sebo Ulu kabupaten Batanghari tenggelam di Sungai Batanghari, Kamis (26/11/2020).
Kapolsek Maro Sebo Ulu , AKP Heri Triyanto dikonfirmasi media ini me mbenarkan informasi tersebut.
“Iya, telah terjadi peristiwa 1 (Satu) orang laki - laki (Warga SAD) tenggelam di aliran Sungai Batanghari, tepatnya di Rt 08 Kelurahan Simpang Sungai Rengas, kecamatan Maro Sebo Ulu, kabupaten Batanghari,” kata Kapolsek Maro Sebo Ulu, AKP Heri Triyanto.
Kapolsek menceritakan, peristiwa itu terjadi sekira pukul 09.00 Wib. Korbannya adalah Nyilat Bin Nunai (Almrh), 20 tahun warga SAD, alamat Dusun Brumbung Bandung III desa Padang Kelapo, kecamatan Maro Sebo Ulu, kabupaten Batanghari.
Awalnya sekira pukul 09.00 Wib, korban bersama kakak Iparnya an. Ninda dari arah desa Tebing Tinggi menuju Kelurahan Simpang Sungai Rengas dengan melayang/naik Ketek milik Dahril. Pada saat naik ketek /pelayangan menyebrangi sungai Batanghari, korban duduk di ketek bagian belakang dan sedang main hp bersama 2 orang lagi yang blm diketahui indentitasnya. Pada saat Ketek sudah mendekati Pelabuhan Sungai Rengas, tiba - tiba korban (Nyilat) jatuh ke sungai Batanghari dan sampai saat ini korban belum diketemukan,” ujar Kapolsek.
Lanjut dikatakan Kapolsek, menurut informasi, korban mempunyai riwayat Epilepsi, dan diperkirakan korban pada saat diatas Ketek/ Pelayangan kambuh penyekitnya, sehingga korban jatuh ke sungai Batanghari.
“Saat ini upaya yang dilakukan mencari korban bersama dengan masyarakat menggunakan perahu sebanyak 1 (satu) Unit, menggunakan Ketek/pelayangan 1 (Unit) dan menghubungi BPBD Batanghari dan Basarnas Provinsi Jambi untuk membantu pencarian,” tutup Kapolsek.
