JAMBI - Gubernur Jambi, DR. H. Fachrori Umar beserta masyarakat penerima SK di Provinsi Jambi hadir untuk menerima SK hutan sosial dari presiden secara virtual, di Auditorium Rumah Dinas Gubernur Jambi, Kamsi (7/1/2021).
Provinsi Jambi menerima 64 SK dengan luas 32.500,92 hektare, bagi 9.424 KK.
Direktur Penanganan Konflik Tenurial dan Masyarakat Adat Direktorat Jenderal Perhutaan Sosial dan Kemitraan Lingkungan Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan (KLHK) Ir.Muhammad Said,MM, dalam sesi wawancara menyatakan bahwa SK ini dikeluarkan agar masyarakat dapat mengelola hutan untuk kesejahteraan.
“Secara nasional, Provinsi Jambi memiliki hutan adat yang terbanyak, dan ada beberapa yang masih dalam proses, dan yang paling banyak adalah di Kabupaten Merangin” ujar Muhammad Said.
Penerbitan SK ini, kata Said bertujuan untuk mengurangi konflik antara masyarakat dan perusahaan. "karena masyarakat punya legalitas untuk mengelola," tutur Said.
"Di Provinsi Jambi ada 333 Ha lebih, dan masih ada 133 ribu lebih potensi yang akan terus diberikan hak legalitasnya kepada masyarakat, dan izin yang sudah diterbitkan 414 izin untuk 34.974 KK, "terang Muhammad Said.
Sementara itu, Presiden Republik Indonesia Ir Joko Widodo mengatakn hari ini diserahkan 2.929 SK Perhutanan Sosial di seluruh tanah air dengan luas mencapai 3.442.000 hektare yang akan diterima lebih kurang 651.000 KK (Kepala Keluarga) yang tersebar di puluhan Provinsi yang ada di Indonesia.
Selain itu juga diserahkan 35 SK Hutan Adat seluas 37.500 hektare, dan 58 SK TORA seluas 72.000 hektare di 17 provinsi.
Sejak lima tahun yang lalu, kata Presiden pemerintah telah memberikan perhatian khusus terhadap redistribusi aset, karena hal tersebut terkait dengan tingkat kemiskinan dan ketimpangan ekonomi, khususnya yang terjadi di perdesaan dan di lingkungan sekitar hutan.
"Redistribusi aset juga menjadi jawaban atas sengketa agraria yang marak terjadi dan ini menjadi salah satu jawaban atas sengketa-sengketa agraria yang ada, baik itu antara masyarakat dengan perusahaan atau antar masyarakat dengan pemerintah,” ujar presiden.
