MUAROJAMBI - Kecelakaan lalulintas kembali terjadi di jalan Lintas Timur kabupaten Muarojambi, tepatnya di RT 10 Desa Sekernan, kecamatan Sekernan kabupaten Muaro Jambi, yang melibatkan mobil jenis Avanza bertabrakan dengan mobil PLN jenis Terios pada Minggu sore (10/01/21).
Menurut keterangan Romi warga setempat, kejadian ini bermula saat mobil jenis Avanza dengan nomor polisi BH 1492 BD yang melaju kencang dari arah kota Jambi menuju Sengeti, saat ingin mendahului kendaraan lain didepan nya datang dari arah berlawanan sebuah mobil jenis Terios milik PLN dengan nomor polisi BH 1465 NS sehingga tabrakan pun tak terhindarkan.
"Avanza melaju dari arah Jambi, saat mau nyalip ada mobil PLN ini, langsung lah tabrakan, mobil Avanza ini sampai terjun ke halaman rumah saya," sebutnya.
Akibat kejadian ini kedua mobil mengalami kerusakan cukup parah hingga ringsek pada bagian roda kedua mobil, beruntung tidak ada korban jiwa dalam peristiwa ini.
Sementara itu, kedua pihak yang terlibat kecelakaan enggan memberikan keterangan.
