JAMBI - Sesuai Ketentuan amanat pasal 79 ayat 1 UU No 23 Tahun 2014 tentang Pemerintahan Daerah bahwa kepala daerah yang berakhir masa jabatannya diumumkan oleh pimpinan Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD), melalui Rapat Paripurna DPRD Provinsi Jambi, Gubernur Jambi Dr.Drs.H.Fachrori Umar,M.Hum mengikuti agenda Pengumuman Berakhirnya Masa Jabatan Gubernur Jambi Periode 2016 - 2021, di Ruang Rapat Utama Gedung DPRD Provinsi Jambi, Kamis (21/01/2021).
Selaku Gubernur Jambi, Fachrori Umar pamit dalam rapat paripurna yang dipimpin oleh Ketua DPRD Provinsi Jambi Edi Purwanto.
Gubernur Jambi, Fachrori Umar mengucapkan terima kasih dan apresiasi kepada pimpinan dan anggota DPRD Provinsi Jambi, unsur Forkopimda serta jajaran Pemerintah Provinsi Jambi yang menjadi mitra kerja konstruktif selama dirinya menjalankan amanah sebagai kepala daerah.
"Saya mengucapkan terima kasih dan apresiasi yang setinggi-tingginya kepada pimpinan Dewan berserta seluruh anggota dan unsur Forkopimda Provinsi Jambi dan jajaran Pemerintah Provinsi Jambi yang menjadi mitra kerja konstruktif selama menjalankan amanah sebagai kepala daerah, sehingga setiap permasalahan dalam pelaksanaan tugas dapat diselesaikan secara bersama sama dengan baik,” ujar Fachrori.
“Tak lupa saya ucapkan terima kasih kepada masyarakat Provinsi Jambi dan pemangku kepentingan di Provinsi Jambi yang telah memberikan dukungan dan do’a, sehingga kami dapat menjalankan amanah yang telah diberikan hingga berakhir masa jabatan,” sambung Fachrori.
Fachrori mengharapkan agar pembangunan yang telah dilaksanakan dapat bermanfaat bagi masyarakat banyak.
Fachrori menyakini bahwa pengabdian bagi Provinsi Jambi bisa dilakukan dimana saja dan kapan saja, dan sebagai warga Jambi, ia akan selalu mengabdikan diri untuk kemajuan Provinsi Jambi.
”Saya akan terus mendukung dan mendo’akan agar Provinsi Jambi menjadi daerah yang maju, rakyatmya sejahtera, negeri yang Baidatun Thoyibatun warobbun ghofur, semoga harapan ini dapat terwujud dimasa yang akan datang,” kata Fachrori.
“Pada tanggal 12 Februari 2021 ini, masa jabatan saya sebagai Gubernur Jambi sisa masa jabatan tahun 2016 – 2021 akan berakhir. Saya mengucapkan terima kasih atas dukungan semua pihak selama saya menjalankan tugas sebagai Gubernur Jambi," sampainya.
"Secara pribadi, keluarga, dan sebagai Gubernur Jambi, saya mohon maaf apabila dalam menjalankan amanah terdapat kekeliruan dan kesalahan, sekaligus mohon pamit. Saya berharap apa yang telah kita upayakan dan lakukan bersama, bisa membawa kemanfaatan bagi Provinsi Jambi,” tutur Fachrori.
Ketua DPRD Provinsi Jambi Edi Purwanto menyampaikan, sesuai dengan keputusan Presiden Nomor 14/B/Tahun 2016 tentang Pengesahan Pengangkatan Gubernur dan wakil Gubernur Jambi masa bakti 2016 – 2021, pada tanggal 12 Februari 2021 Gubernur Jambi Fachrori Umar akan mengakhiri masa jabatanya.
Sesuai dengan Undang-Undang, tugas DPRD mengusulkan pengangkatan dan memberhentikan gubernur dan wakil gubernur kepada presiden melalui Menteri Dalam Negeri untuk mendapatkan pengesahannya.
