JAMBI – Wakil Walikota Jambi, Dr. dr. H. Maulana, MKM mengapresiasi program pemberdayaan masyarakat yang dijalankan oleh Pertamina EP Asset 1 Jambi Field (PEP Jambi), Minggu (14/2). Dalam kunjungannya ke lokasi CSR “Gerai Energi” PEP Jambi, Maulana mengungkapkan bahwa program ketahanan pangan merupakan salah satu fokus utama dari Pemerintah Kota Jambi dan program urban farming yang dikembangkan PEP Jambi di Gerai Energi dapat menjadi inspirasi yang dapat dikembangkan di seluruh masyarakat Kota Jambi. “Atas nama Pemerintah Kota Jambi, saya ucapkan terima kasih kepada Pertamina EP Jambi Field yang tidak hanya berperan dalam menciptakan ketahanan energi, namun juga berkontribusi dalam mendukung ketahanan pangan di masyarakat”, terang Maulana.
Kunjungan ke lokasi CSR PEP Jambi merupakan salah satu rangkaian agenda Wakil Walikota Jambi melalui kegiatan bersepeda bersama di wilayah Kecamatan Kota Baru untuk meninjau kondisi pembangunan sekaligus menyapa masyarakat secara langsung.
Gerai Energi merupakan kawasan program pengembangan masyarakat yang diinisiasi PEP Jambi pada tahun 2020 dengan kegiatan utama pengembangan budidaya tanaman sayur secara hidroponik. Berlokasi di Kelurahan Kenali Asam Atas, Kecamatan Kota Baru, kawasan ini menjadi pusat kegiatan dan pendampingan kelompok masyarakat yang dijalankan oleh PEP Jambi sebagai bagian dari program Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
Pjs. Jambi Field Manager, Alip Triwanto dalam sambutannya mengatakan bahwa Gerai Energi adalah satu dari banyak program pemberdayaan masyarakat yang dijalankan oleh PEP Jambi. “Dalam menjalankan kegiatan CSR, kami berfokus pada bidang pemberdayaan ekonomi, kesehatan, infrastruktur, pendidikan serta pendampingan kelompok rentan”, terang Alip. Lebih lanjut Asset 1 Legal & Relation Manager, Himawan Djatmiko menjelaskan bahwa keberhasilan dari suatu program CSR tidak terlepas dari dukungan pemerintah daerah dan masyarakat sehingga partisipasi aktif dari pemerintah dan masyarakat sangat diharapkan dalam sinergi program maupun dalam mendukung kelancaran operasi Pertamina EP.
