Hal tersebut katakan Bupati Merangin H Al Haris melalui Kepala Dinas Peternakan dan Perkebunan Kabupaten Merangin Kaprawi, ketika dibincangi BatanghariNews di ruang kerjanya, Kamis (04/3).
‘’Alhamdulillah dari tahun ke tahun Program Replanting Pemerintah Pusat yang kita terima terus bertambah. Ini sangat membantu sekali para petani sawit kita, mengingat sudah banyak lahan sawit di Merangin yang sudah saatnya direplanting,’’ ujar Bupati.
Dijelaskan bupati, pada program replanting 2018 Kabupaten Merangin mendapatkan sebanyak 550 hektar. Pada tahun berikutnya 2019 bertambah mendapatkan sebanyak 1.108 hekar dan pada 2020 bertambah lagi mendapatkan sebanyak 2.206 hektar.
Atas keberhasilan Kabupaten Merangin melaksanakan Program Replanting Sawit Pemerintah Pusat itu lanjut bupati, sudah banyak pemerintah kabupaten dari provinsi lain yang melakukan studi banding ke Kabupaten Merangin.
‘’Kita sudah didatangi tim dari Dinas Perkebunan Pemkab Labuhan Batu Utara Provinsi Sumatera Utara, Pemkab Muara Enim Provinsi Sumatera Selatan dan Pemkab Solok Provinsi Sumatera Barat, untuk studi banding,’’ terang Bupati.
Selain itu bupati mengaku sangat berterimakasih sekali dengan dengan Pemerintah Pusat, karena selain mendapatkan banyak Program Replanting Sawit, juga banyak mendapatkan bantuan peralatan pertanian.
‘’Masih dalam proses, kita juga akan mendapatkan bantuan satu unit ekskavator. Mudah-mudahan dalam waktu dekat sudah dikirim ke Kabupaten Merangin, untuk kelancaran Program Replanting Sawit,’’ tandasnya.
